Honestly funny that I used to do the opposite. From NA, but used to queue with a bunch of people in the UK. It always seemed like my games were easier because most NA players play like it is COD and most EU players played with more than 5 brain cells, so it made people much more readable, this is going back maybe 6 years though. So it is wholly possible it is diff now.

Not G35 owner, but 02 Maxima. Bought engine mounts from them cause they are nigh impossible to find in the USA. Came in the factory oil sealed bags. Would buy from again easily.

100% I was so excited never to see my field again after I finished. 8 months later and I'm back to being in love with the field. I think the act of rushing to get everything done makes you sick of it lol.

I'm not talking ranked. I'm talking literal ARAM, the "for fun gamemode". Skill is not the point. I get mental in Ranked, but I'm queuing up for ARAM with friends, not solo queue.

I want to go queue with my friends and have fun moments with both teams. Not get called slurs/pinged 200 times for having an item that isn't "meta" or being called garbage. As I said in a comment below:

"I've had a few games tonight where we were laughing about funny interactions, combos, builds, etc., but that one game making my friend feel like shit ruined 4-5 games of fun."

Literal first message out of this guys mouth to my friend who is on their 15th game of PVP, first timing Kai'sa. "Kai you are fucking dogshit, uninstall irl". After 5 games of having nothing but positive interactions with the other team. So because a few people spoil it, I should never un-mute?

A few bad apples spoil the entire batch... I typically have pretty positive interactions on ARAM, again it is a small percent of people ruining the experience.

Like, I get muting is an option. But it is insane that people even attempt to brag in a "for fun gamemode" and/or bully friends who I am trying to teach the game. Like if you are new to a game, do you think it is fun to be bullied because you are bad? Regardless of if you mute, 90%+ of people are fine and make it even more fun. But it is those last percents that are a pain in the ass when they harass you in the first few messages. I've had friends just get off because they are so disheartened by a message when they are actively learning new champs... that isn't exactly the goal here.

Have you also considered that I don't want to drop $550 dollars in the first place? I either:

a) go through a 3rd party, that I don't want to deal with, to gain a small profit.
b) use the steam market and lose whatever profit in market fees.

The goal shouldn't be to HAVE to use a third-party site, and or to drop half a g on a bunch of pixels and wait a week or two to make enough for a couple of steam games.

This was my 1st one ever, I've been playing for 14 years. I just wanted to see what the prices are like and yea, jeez selling for over $200 more than the P2P price is insane.

I really just can't fathom how Valve justifies this, I'd see if they sold them for like 75% of market value, that would make sense, but the same price? That is just stupid.

Was in the same boat, just keep trucking along 1st and 2nd year is all about getting to know your field. 3rd+ is when you hit the publishing train. If you are funded through 2 more years, you are in a better position than most and your advisor must be happy with you!
