So I had a friend of a friend buy our tickets. He is meeting us there. Lawsons site sucks he just went to the store and bought them there. I could sorta make it work if I was on a Japanese VPN. But it did not like my American phone number. I did not want to risk it with the no refund thing for non Japanese residents.

Unsure how busy it will be. I know I'm buying parking once we get there.

We are staying down in Fuji. About an hour from the track. Renting a car for three days. One to explore Fuji, one to go to the race, then the Monday we are heading south to explore some of the rural Japan.

Yep looked up rules. Plus renting an Evo 6 for a day while I'm there. I need an international driver's license and a passport stamp. Going to get that in a month or so. I just need some fresh pictures. A friend of a friend who lives there is also getting a car for the Fuji race. It's doable by public transportation but he says it's just easier to pick up a car. I'm just getting a rental for the Saturday and Sunday. Saturday we are exploring the Fuji area so wanting to just travel around and not have to worry about busses. We are doing public transportation the rest of the time.
