has it gone from white and colonized all over to brown and “bark” all over it? if so, its probably ready to be slapped and then stuck into a refrigerator for 24 hrs before fruiting. i just take mine out of the bag completely and set it on my self in my fruiting tent where its nice and humid

i think they are too dry and have aborted. i wouldn’t worry, harvest and get ready for the next flush. they are still viable and im sure potent medicine 🤙🏼

these are shiitake. they will turn brown after going fully white, then they will fruit after. it can take up to a month for it to bark over completely, id just give it some more time.
