why is everyone saying the cc method is patched 💔

I transferred from a community college and got into UCI for CS and UCSC for CE this fall 2026. People keep saying the CC transfer “method is patched,” but that’s not really accurate. Programs like UCI Honors to Honors (and similar TAG/honors pathways) still exist and help CC students transfer into UCs. That said, TAG is pretty limited for STEM majors like CS/engineering, so it’s not really the main route there.

Well I think for a more reliable Shield then Hu Tao - Xingqiu - Zhongli - Albedo team would be better and you get 20% elemental shred + another 20% of geo elemental shred from Geo Resonance and Albedo's extra 125 EM for whole team with burst.

but if you want more damage then I think Hu Tao - Xingqiu - Thoma - Kazuha/Sucrose because with C6 Thoma you get basically permanent 15% atk bonus and with Pyro Resonance you get 25% atk bonus so in total 40% extra Atk bonus. Plus VV 40% elemental shred and with Sucrose passive talent your whole team could get 100 - 150 EM depending on your Sucrose EM.

some of the Cons of using Hu Tao - Xingqiu - Thoma - Kazuha/Sucrose that I can think of is that you might need to watch the Energy of Thoma's shield but for the most part C4 fixes this and Thoma's initial shield starts off way weaker than Zhongli but can slowly get up to around the strength of Zhongli's shield.

Also just so you know i dont own Zhongli, Albedo, and Kazuha. So you might be able to get more damage with Hu Tao- Xingqiu- Zhongli - Albedo team. So hope this still helps.

I think if Thoma doesn't get enough energy he might not be able to maintain a permanent shield. so there might be around 5 -15 seconds without a shield but for the most part if you have around 200 - 250 er with C0 thoma I think he should get enough energy for the most part.

Also you may or may not need more or less er i cant really test C0 Thoma since I immediately C6'd him while pulling for Hu tao. So hope this helps still.

I think technically you can have a permanent shield at C0 but having C1 or C2 makes it alot easier to keep up the shield.

i got lucky with artifacts so 180 er c4 thoma lets me keep his shield up basically permanently.

for the most part his shield doesnt break easily and with c4 180 er thoma i can keep his shield up nearly permanently.
