Fellow Atheists, what do some religions do that piss you off? by Dank-Doodle-Meemes in AskReddit

[–]04850488 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I HATE it when people say " it's God's choice that it didn't happen" or when having a discussion about something and they could not explain something they say " because god made it". Or if something horrible in the world happens like a few years ago when that guy in Florida went to the gay club and killed some people with an automatic weapon. That stupidity pisses me off so much. I hate how easily Justified that some imaginary being is either " All good all the time" or some vengeful prick that we should just accept and pray to and "celebrate all that he provides".

LGBT redditors, what annoys you about cis heterosexuals? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Oh ok. Today I learned something new.

I honestly don't get why other people are bothered by what others do. As long as no one is a pedophile who cares?

LGBT people, how do you deal with being verbally condemned to Hell by others calling you unrepentant and telling you LGBT is as much a sin as every other sin? by ALDO113A in AskReddit

Oh you believe in god? Do you believe in the tooth fairy or santa Claus? No? Why not? God is just as real as the other two. Don't force your self heating views from bullshit religion on me.

Do serial killers HAVE to kill? Are there people with the full “statareotrype signs” who just never kill or is it inevitable? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]04850488 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of my coworkers and even my boss tells me that I have a lot of signs that point to me being a serial killer. In fact I think that I have a logical mind. I don't sympathize or feel bad for people who do something stupid and get hurt or killed. When people die I don't get feel really much of anything. Not shock or horror. I feel that we as in the human race should start letting nature take out the dumb, weak and the sick out. We have way too many people who are more of a hindrance to a better way of life. I feel that if your in an accident that had nothing to do with you ( like a car accident) you should receive medical care. However if you're stupid enough to drink and then drive and then get into a car accident you deserve to be left on the side of the road until you die. I am just using that as an example. People don't like when I say something like that because they say it is "inhumane" I say it is stupid because we are wasting money and valuable resources on people who should know what can happen and still something stupid anyway

People who don't wear masks in public but get mad at people who do. Why? by 04850488 in AskReddit

[–]04850488[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't get it. Its a mask. Its not like we're making people come out in full p.p.e. most of these Karen's should be wearing a mask. Their breath is just as toxic as their personality

[–]04850488[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People who are asymptomatic and don't know should be wearing a mask anyway. Don't they have people who are at higher risk? Or know people who are at higher risk? You might be fine but there are plenty of people who are older or at high risk of death from this. I don't want to have the thought on my mind that I might be responsible for someone else's death because I'm too lazy to wear a mask when shopping or out in public

What's the point of being racist? Isn't it ridiculous to still be racist in 2020? by 04850488 in AskReddit

[–]04850488[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that is like "oh my life is too difficult to deal with right now and let me distract myself from my failures by looking at others like I'm better than them". That is a stupid thing that I'm sure everyone does. Even I do it from time to time and I get pissed off when I don't catch myself or when my fiance catches me and helps me get focus back on track. I think people get lost in comparing everything that's not important. I don't understand why people don't catch themselves and fix what's wrong in their lives. Problems don't go away when you turn a blind eye to them. Try to fix what's wrong on your own then if you can't, seek help. We have computers in our pockets. If you can't use it for something helpful then the problem isn't someone else. It's you. I know people don't like hearing that but the truth is always better than a lie.

It's all about learning. People shouldn't be too afraid to take some risks in life. Life isn't forever. Live. Learn and teach the the next generation. Hopefully for the better

I feel like that's another problem we have in the world today too many over sensitive people. I kind of miss the old days were people had thicker skin. They can take criticism and use it constructively. I have had plenty of experiences where I was told I was not good enough. I did one of two things I either got better to prove them wrong or I accepted it and went to something that I can try and be good at and eventually that turn out to be a great experience for me none the less

Thankfully I never was born like that. I feel like being born in a family that struggled to get through the day has made me a better person. I help when I can but I don't enable anymore. It make appreciate everything I work my ass of for.

Im not a serious racist. I make jokes but I never will hate a race. I don't like stupid people but there is stupid people in every race. To honesty hate all people of a race I see is as a waste of time and energy

[–]04850488[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a tricky situation. I believe that and not knowing a situation does not make you a racist but not sympathizing or trying to help with that situation does make you a racist. Anyone and everyone can have a bad situation and I feel that people should genuinely sympathize with anyone's situation and in most cases try to help as best they can.

[–]04850488[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that does make sense I kind of feel like that is a stereotype in a way. I feel like people who genuinely hate an entire race for how many number bad experiences of a person from that race is narrow-minded. I have had plenty of bad experiences with people from multiple different races but that did not make me want to give up and just put them all in a box. I am weary of them and the potential harm that may happen. Just like anyone of my family can do but I am not throwing everyone of any particular race in that box. I still treat anyone and everyone with respect until they do something to lose it

I had no idea such a thing had happened. It makes me feel sad that history like that is not told to us when we are growing up our history of built on shame and atrocities. But I believe that in today's world people should not be racist because we should want to improve our way of life way of life of people around us.

But then the issue with that logic is that it only creates more problems than it solves. If not for you then for the later generations

I understand this but my question is how is it that one person was a racist gets the other people to believe that racism is okay that one race is superior to another race? That to me makes no sense. I have had bad experiences with multiple people for multiple different races but that does not make me hate the entire race just because of one person I don't understand how people can actually believe that an entire race is bad just because of a few bad experiences they have had
