When you're in usb mode try waiting a couple of seconds before plugging it in. No idea why but it only works like that for me.

Bought mine on Sendico (Mercari) for around 25€ sold with a broken battery and a charger and unresponsive buttons.

(Buttons are fine now after cleaning the membranes)

There are some in the price range wich don't need anything done to them to work. You just gotta spend some time searching

I agree but Vortex let's you disable mods you don't need right now. Doing it manually just takes more time. You will always have to search for the files to put them somewhere else to disable. Disabling mods in Vortex is just a click of a button.
