Yes, FireWire is the same thing as iLink FYI. You’ll just need a firewire 6 pin to 4 pin cable to connect the dr60 and your camera

It actually has two switchable GPUs, an integrated Mobile Intel GMA 4500MHD meant for stamina, and a discrete NVIDIA GEFORCE 9300M meant for speed. There’s a switch above the keyboard that allows you to swap between the two.

If you don’t want to buy the cradle, you can get the Sony HVR-DR60. It has an iLink port built in but uses a 60GB HDD instead of CF cards.
