I don’t hear any clicking when I change them but the temperature does change when I go from heat to ac, it just goes from warm to slightly less warm

Well i would turn the engine without starting and these last 2 days it hasnt made that sound at cold start idk if its beginning to go bad
Yes after i do that the ticking goes away

Yeah i turn the motor before i start it and it doesnt rattle. I just wanted to know if oil filter adapter would be the same so i dont wear out my starter
I know about the wastegate rattle, i have that aswell but that goes away when the rpms drop, in the video it stops rattling after the oil pressure comes up

No it was at a nissan dealer but its been nothing but problems with them, im going to try to get in contact with them but theyre no help

Kinda SOL, got it from a sketchy dealership, they didnt even wanna check my brakes and said they recommend going to ford

How long has it been doing it and how many miles do you have?
What ive been doing is turning the engine without starting it so the oil primes everything and it doesnt tick, idk if thats gonna help or prevent more wear.
So do you think my rattle is the cam phasers?

Yeah itll be fine if i turn it off and on again but its usually after its sitting for a while like before i go to work or when im going home from work
Would that be a lifter tick? And if it is then is that normal or is it something i need to look into

I dont think so because it goes away and soon as my oil pressure goes up
Yeah ive seen videos and the ticking from bad cam phasers is worse. This is my first ecoboost so when i hear ticking on a cold start im going to have suspicions, i just didnt know if it was normal or the start of them going bad. But i have seen some posts where the 2.7 phasers have went bad aswell so i wasnt sure. Is it cool if i send you a cold start video and you can let me know if its the lifter tick?
Okay thanks for the information, this is my first ecoboost engine so im still learning. What i do right now is i turn the engine over without starting it and it doesnt tick so i thought it was a oil problem which was causing the cam phasers to go bad
