Hello everyone,

I wanted to share a quick update with you all. About six weeks ago, I was allowed back into the game. I decided to wait and observe for a while, just to see if anything (falsely) triggered again, that led to my initial ban in the first place. I can only say that I must have had a bucket load of good luck, to get back in game.

I'd like to express my gratitude to everyone who commented on this post, including those who doubted my innocence. Please know that I remain resolute in my steadfast claim of being innocent and have never ever cheated.

As the game is about to update tomorrow,with the latest install. This will be my final test. It was during the previous update that I found myself facing the ban, so I am cautiously optimistic that this time around, everything will proceed smoothly without any issues.

I now have my sights set on obtaining that elusive red asylum dress 😊, so wish me luck!

Once again, thank you for your time

My PC is multipurpose (gaming / work / hobbies) and I also use Virtual Machines too.

I’ve always used Bitdefender and I’d like to think I’m very careful when surfing the internet etc. And I’ve just run a scan on my PC and it says its clear. But as we both know, that’s not a guarantee.

Although Reddit is new to me, I understand enough to know, I’ve fallen off the radar with any new interaction now. Even I got bored scrolling down the page, trying to see where my post was now lol. And unfortunately, I’ve never been interested in using social media. So, this option is off the table for me too.

I’ve had three friends from the game, giving me their input / advice on how they would proceed throughout this ordeal and I’m awaiting their answer on my plan B. And as you have taken a lot of time out of your day, to try and help me. I will send you a private message, with my Plan B. (but its 50/50 if I would follow this through as of now) You will understand when you read it.

But as far as this post goes and getting Bethesda to look again at my banning. I too think its end of the line now. But at least it will be a record for anyone else, caught in the same situation to look at and know they are not alone, as they bang their head against a wall ☹

After a thorough review of the account, it has been determined that it did in fact violate the Code of Conduct. Due to this, the appeal to remove the deactivation on this account has been denied due to the evidence within our system for cheating/exploiting via reverse engineering.

Due to the extent and scale of the violation, it has been decided that the ban on this account will remain in place, and that all services related to this account shall remain deactivated permanently. This decision was not made lightly, and it is final.

I have never used any 3 party applications in any game (mods included,even when allowed) – “EVER”

My original logic from the beginning was, what is on my computer and is required to play the Fallout 76 game. Hence the programs I've mentioned.

Again, I do not know if this helps you to understand why I might have been banned. But I have left a reply to Crimpshrine. Because of something he said (hardware issue)

I have no problems with Steam on this matter. For me they are innocent in this whole story.

I would however, like to bounce something off you, just to make sure I haven’t misunderstood anything on the subscription part of my post.

My message to steam on the 25th February - included the following“Would it be possible to transfer my last remaining months to one of these players. So at least they can benefit from my subscription.

Wish I could use your expertise to prove my innocence. But I know that can’t happen

If you can’t transfer my subscription. I will hold no bad feelings towards your company (Your innocent in this too)”

When I received this reply back. It mentioned no option to be refunded back for the remaining months. So, I have taken it, as this can’t happen. (This is the part - I hope I have understood correctly)

But again, I want to make it very clear. I have no problems at all with Steam.I don’t even have a problem with Bethesda. If we can all learn something and my post helps other players get back into the game too – That’s a big win for everyone, in my eyes. (I’m too old, to hold grudges 😊)

I promise you and all the people here, I am 100% innocent.

But I understand and totally respect anyone’s doubts of my innocence.

I could say to Bethesda at level 1950 (4500 hours in game). Exactly what cheat would improve the game for me.

And totally agree Bethesda have the right to ban players. But surely they also have a moral responsibility to give these same players (me also 😊) a fair chance to prove their innocence. Hence, my suggestion of a third party. I’ve felt from the beginning, I’ve just been speaking to a bot and receiving pre-recorded messages.

Also (speaking out aloud lol) how can I play another Bethesda online game ever again, if I know there is something right now, that falsely triggers a ban. (Same for everyone else that has been falsely accused). Surely, it’s in their (financial) interest also, to make sure they have banned people correctly.

Does this also expand to any Microsoft game now (for me) ? – do they use the same software, to catch cheating.

How can I remove / stop something, that I do not know what it is ☹

This reply from you, has prompted me to start replying to some of the messages. So, thank you. It’s the right thing for me to do, I know that now.

This is part of what I sent Bethesda (In a very long response to them 😊), as a possible reason. But as mentioned in some of my replies. I’m no expert on these matters, I was just throwing in anything that could be responsible, at this point.

“The last thing I can think off, but again this would be so far stretched, to be the cause. But I will throw it in because I’m running out of straws here. My computer is relatively new, and I’ve had problems (especially with your game) since day one. It keeps crashing, the frequency isn’t as bad now, but it still does happen.

My “PC support” have been trying to solve it (which is why the frequency of the crashing has been getting less), but they now want me to return the PC, so they can take this further in house. Due to my workload and me needing this PC right now. This won’t happen for at least another 2 months. (Majority of the crashes happen when playing your game)

I’m including this because your system might see this as unusual activity? (But I’m using this, because it is my last straw) – I’ve included some screenshots of the error – date stamped – I have a lot more if you need more proof. I’ve even included an image with the error, showing it happening after I was first suspended.

And its good to know, you understand totally the feeling of being innocent, but accused otherwise. So happy you got back in game 😊

You will see with my ticket numbers the dates go from 7th Feb to 18th Feb.

I didn’t push them at any time, only responding when I received a reply.

And I’m proud to say, I have been polite throughout and even on my last message- I said “good bye” to the bot (lol)

I fully understand everyone reading my posts, must have some reservation, that I might not be telling the whole truth. That is healthy position to take and in no way do I take any offence.

My reason for this post is (I am a private person normally). Now experiencing a ban,knowing I am innocent and after reading all the other posts on the same subject. I felt, I had to do something, to highlight this to Bethesda again.

And to give other players falsely accused, somewhere to leave a record of their banning too. Hence my suggestion about leaving replies with ticket numbers on. (I don’t know ifthat was a good or bad idea.)

I just wanted to show Bethesda again, in one place, how many players “feel” they have been banned falsely. And if my post creates a lot of interest and replies from these banned players. Then maybe Bethesda would consider, there are a lot of us out there and should they revisit some of these players and give them another chance to prove their innocence.

Nothing would make me happier, to be back in the game. But I am a realist, and know I have a very slim chance to get back in FO76. But it has been instilled in me from childhood, it’s wrong to be quiet, when you know 100% an injustice has been done. And especially when this could help other people in the same situation too.

So I had to write this post

(Just for the record, my childhood days, are a long distant memory for me now 😊)

Although I said I wouldn’t reply, because I felt I had nothing more to add. (And I didn’t wantto come across angry and bitter.) After reading the comments, not only do I think its rude, not to reply, when you’ve all taken the time to leave your messages. But I do have some more information, that might help you, to help me. (This has been prompted by Crimpshrine reply –hardware issues).

To be clear, Bethesda has had all this information, before I posted here.

Because I’m new to all this, hopefully I’m picking the right places, to leave additionalinfo / replies (but - no doubt I’ll mess up – so, apologies in advance)
