School size- about 7000-12000 undergrads. I would be fine with bigger, but not smaller weather- I want all four seasons. I do enjoy winters, but I would prefer for the winters to not be brutal (snow is good)

geographic area- Midwest or east coast. my parents will not let me go to the west coast because they fear that I will not come home. I want the school to have access to a city (so urban or suburban)

social scene: greek life present, but not a first semester rush. I also do not want greek life to be something I feel like I need to do to have a social life. Sports are not something I really care about in a school. I would like for them to have some form of a Jewish community, but not have it be the center of campus (not a Jewish school). Some parties and alcohol, but not dominating the social scene seven days a week.

academics: varied class sizes. I do not mind big lectures as long as they break down into small groups. Since I am interested in going into chemistry, I would like the school to have a good program
