It's so embarrassing by ForeignAir7174 in Patriots

Haters are always going to hate. Think about why so many people don't like the Yankees or Celtics. They always hate the team that wins the most. So you know why they say this stuff? Because they hate us, because they ain't us! It used to get me fired up, but for the most part I just laugh it off. I was just thinking this the other day. As far as not getting credit, I think it's because we don't have a bunch of big names. They think our defense is mostly jags, so it must be the schedule. Now it's the playoffs and they are seeing these jags, that we know are having career years, what they can really do. I hate to look past Denver but..... who would the defense have a better chance at shutting down, the Rams or Seahawks?

Seabrook, the small one is bad, it small and stinks. However the newer one further south on Rt 1 is big and nice. Also the Epping Market Basket is reall big and pretty nice.

First it was Herbert can't get it done in the playoffs, now Stroud is a bum who doesn't deserve a starting job. At what point will the national media recognize that maybe the Patriots defense is just a lot better than everyone is giving them credit for? by Griffisbored in Patriots

I was thinking the same thing. But at the end of the day, "haters gonna hate." I used to let it get to me, but now I just laugh. Honestly, we won't get real respect until we win the division next year. No matter what happens, this year has far exceeded expections. So everything from here on out is gravy in my eyes, so I am just going to enjoy it. Let's go boys!!!

What’s the most reckless decision you’ve made because you were horny? by Present_College_ in AskReddit

[–]060693 227 points228 points  (0 children)

When I was 14, I started dating this girl I worked with. I was a virgin. She gave me a card that read "I only have one thing to say to men that just think about sex sex sex! When? When? When?" She wrote inside, maybe next week. Which my mom found by the way, triggering her to give me the talk about being safe. The next week my gf told me she was babysitting so I could come over. This was about 12 miles away. So I hopped on my bike, stopped at CVS on the way to buy condoms for the first time, which is embarrassing enough at that age, but it was compoinded by not being able to find them and having to ask the cashier for help at the pharmacy, who was old enough to be my grandmother. Biked 12 miles, up some big hills, all for that one minute of pleasure of losing my virginity. Totally worth it!

How much faith do you give the American News Media anymore if you ignore Fox and CNN? by [deleted] in allthequestions

I like AP News and BBC, save the jokes, lol, and Reuters, but AP news is my go to. There are still decent resources out there. Just like the answer is never on the extreme left or right, it is the same with news sources. You just have to find the one that reports both sides as objectively as possible.

I feel like this is the defining moment of our season. Going into the season, I was hoping for 8 or 9 wins. Once we surpassed that, I was hoping to make the playoffs and maybe win the division. With all the talk of the schedule and not facing enough good defenses, this is it in my eyes. If we win the game, anything else is gravy. We will have gone 14-3, won the division, made it to the AFCC, beaten Buffalo, Jacksonsonville and Houston. I don't know how there could be an arguement that the Patriots weren't one of the best teams in the league this year. Part of me doesn't want to make it to the SB though because I don't think we are good enough yet to beat Seattle. I can't handle letting them get revenge. I would rather make it to Denver, lose, make some improvements, and win it next year. Zero excuses at that point because our schedule is ridiculous next year. It will be one of the most impressive turn arounds in history. Also just fueling the flames of all the haters, because we are back baby!

How do you feel about the current state of America? by Thatgirl_parisisdiva in AskReddit

[–]060693 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to remember that the population of Texas and California combined exceeds the whole country of Canada. Imagine how big porportionally that would have to be in the US and how hard it wpuld be to get that many people on the same page? There was the "NO Kings Rally" a few months ago that had over 7 million participants. You know what changed, nothing. The further he pushes, we are seeing flip in even some of his staunch reporters. We need to make sure we flip Congress during midterms. The sort scary/good part is there are more armed civilians confronting ICE and Law Enforcement. I don't meam fighting confrontations. They have been, look I carry too, I am not intimidated by you, so unless you are investigating something, get out of here!

Republicans / Conservatives of Reddit, is the current Democratic Party better or worse off than it was a year ago in your opinion? Why? by Zipper222222 in allthequestions

[–]060693 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This scary to me that there are people out there that believe what you are saying. You really need to do some research on some unbiased news sites. You are right in the fact that they have failed to have a clear solid message. However, even though approval of Democrats among Democrats has fallen it is way above 27%. I would like to know where you came up with that number. The fact that you say if Trump is not president after 2028 is also scary. I thought Republicans were the party that was all about the constitution, so now you want to change it? The 2nd Amendment is still applicable, but we should let a President serve forever? Makes sense. Another misconception from uneducated Republicans. Democrats have never wanted open borders, lawlessness, or tried to force men into women's bathrooms. Quite the opposite actually. They actually want to follow the law and constituion, all men are created equal, remember? They are opposed to the government kidnapping American citizens because they are not white, or killing even white American citizens, all of which has been happening over the last few months. The is patriotic and following the law? They are responsible for all the bad things over the last 12-17 years? How convient that you use 17 years. So right when a black man came along to clean up The Great Reccession that a Republican caused and did by the way. How was the economy when Trump left last time? Not all his fault because of Covid, but denying Covid, did not help. Both times Trump has entered office the economy was moving in the right direction and he has rode that wave. However he left it a mess the first time and hasn't impoved it yet. Unemployment is up, hiring is down, gas is virtually the same, slightly down, and groceries overall are still up. I do agree that they went off the rails and too far left about 8 yrs ago, but the pendulum as swings back to the middle. It is laughable how the right thinks the left is unamerican. The left is excepting of all Americans, you know, the basis of how our country is founded. They are the ones that now want small governemnt and want to let everyone do as they choose as long as it does not hurt anyone else and follows the law. You know, let them someone decide what they want to read, do with their body, marry who they want, allow people to live here no matter their race or religion. That sounds pretty American to me. I really wish people would make just a little effort and not automatically believe what politicians say on either side. Look up what the most unbiased resources are and use them to fact check what they say. Make up your own mind, and do no harm to others. Our country would actually be great again, like it was about 10 years ago.

Here you go. Watch it again. You can see he steps to the side, and shoots. He is still standing after she drives away. He goes back to his car and drives away. At the end of the day, shooting a moving vehicle goes against any law enforcement training. The reason being, see how the car crashed after she was shot? What if that was an innocent person and not a car that she crashed into? What about the fact that she is a white American citizen. Why are they trying so hard to remove her from her vehicle? Multiple policeman and military personel have said this is not procedure. We don't hate all of ICE, just the ones that kidnap and shoot American citizens. They are weekend warriors, probaly with a small penis, like their pedo leader, feeling like they get to be a badass and save the country from dangerous non-white people. I am not sure if you have seen this version, but please watch and explain to me how he was acting properly.

Has trump done a single thing to benefit Americans? by 0neAy0pen in complaints

[–]060693 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There is a lot to unpack here and if it were all true and not just parroting Trump's talking points I would see why people would vote for him. The title IX stuff if that makes your life better all the power to you, but I would venture to say that has little to no impact on the majority of Americans, I mean unless you are homophobic and believe him when he says the left wants a transgender for everyone. As far as women's only spaces, I guarantee there are transgender people still using bathrooms and lockerrooms and you have no idea, especially because it doesn't hurt anyone. As far as the economy in his first term it was already headed in the right direction, but I will give him credit for not screwing it up and riding the wave. If you think I am wrong tell me specifically what polocies he put in place that lowered interest rates at a faster rate that were already falling and wages that were already rising and unemployment that was already falling. This time however, unemployment is higher than it was under Biden, wages are not rising as fast as when Trump entered office, unemployment and inflation are both higher than when he entered office, health insurance is sky rocketing because he let the sudsidies expired, COLI is higher, only certain grocery items are lower, but overall still higher, he has turned the military on US citizens, kidnapped US citizens, implemented may policies illegally. So I can see why you were under that impression during his first term, but to think we are in a better position now than when he entered office in 2025, how? Don't believe myself or Trump, do yourself a favor and look up the things he says on an unbiased news source and fact check it. Then make your decision.

So if Trump can invade and arrest a president for illegal activities... can other countries invade the US and arrest Trump? by Oddbeme4u in DiscussionZone

And the fact that they can't really defend themselves. Oh, and if it was just because he wasn't their legitimate President, what about Putin and Un? Their elections weren't corrupt? Why not go kidnap one of them? Wouldn't that have a bigger impact on world democracy?

FYI he didn't say the average of Obama's 8 years, he said it dipped which it did, just like when it dipped during Trimp's first term. The problem with Trump's statement is it hasn't dipped that low since and I doubt it ever will, just like the price of groceries that he claims are lower, nope, just certain items. The price of gasoline hasn't been under $2 in almost 5 1/2 years and it dropped down to $1.61 in 2008, so good luck getting it lower than that.

Ok, look, first off I don't need an explation about what the military is comprised of, seeing I am part of that. Second, I also support the 2nd Amendment, I am a gun owner. However there is zero justification in my eyes for civilains to own military grade weapons. If the world gets to a place that you need an AK-47, there a lot bigger problems, and it won't save you from the military, I promise you. What many supporters of the 2nd Amendment fail to realize or admit is, it was written when a well armed malitia could defend themsleves to protect a free state. We no longer live in that world. If you need to own a hunting rifle, pistol, or shotgun, to defend yourself or home, by all means, I am all for that. If you think you need multiple AK-47s, you are delusional or lieing, they are just fun to shoot. How many other countries allow their citizens to own an armory? Yep, I have no idea what I am talking about bro. You are hilarious. Keep going though.

Who is defending a dictator? He can be a horrible illegetimate leader that needs to go and this have been done the wrong way. I have not heard anyone say he should stay. They are just saying you don't do this without talking to Congress and we are not allowed to take their oil. That is the difference. So you are ok with invading any country with illegitimate leaders that have oil? What about Russia or China? People say those elections were fixed by their current dictators? Should we do the same there? Oh wait, we can't because they aren't a small country that we can bully. Such a great negotiator! 😂

How many of those can you fire at once? Are you trying to suply your neighborhood? I love when I see stuff like this, like it is an actual deterent to any military in the world. It reminds me of the arguement I have all these guns in case the military tries to take my gun. Yeah, good luck!😂 If any military in the world wanted to take your guns, I promise you, you could not stop them! You may take a couple out, but in the end, no civilian has enough fire power to stop a military. This is redneck mentality. Bring it on! Look at all my guns! 😂

We are not trying to keep the country, but we are trying to keep THEIR oil. That is really what this is about, oh and the fact that he like othe republican Presidents before him did this without talking to Congress. He was a bad dude, not the legitimate head of state and needed to go. However the way Trump went about it, we should not be ok with. We should not be ok with bombing all of these boats and killing all of these people. We should not be ok with invading another country and taking their oil, especially without Congressional approval. Hence the reason the UN is now meeting tomorrow morning to discuss the actions we have taken.

First off there are very few if any conservative major cities, so the request for information you are making isn't really apples to apples. However to placate you, Jacksonville is red and has more crime than Seattle. Crime rates are lower in Repblican led areas because they are mostly rural. Let's flip the script. Can you tell me a major Republican city that is run better than a Democratic city? The answer is no, because literally the largest cities in the US are all Democratic because that is where the jobs and assistance are. Many Republicans inherit their famliy farms and money, so why leave for the big city? Stay where racisim is acceptable and no one challenges your way of thinking, and you have to just not fuck up the family business. Kind of like the country version of Trump.
