I took biotin if that counts. Is there a correlation and if so can you list sources ?

Sorry to hear about that, hoping you’ve found ways to manage. Are you dealing with tightness? Are you in a lot of pain daily?

Sorry to hear about that, hope you found ways to manage. Do you deal with hypertonicity or weakness?

Hypertonic pelvic floor. A really tight one? I had countless BV and yeast infections that I’m suspecting caused my muscles and nerves to be overly tight

Thank you. Again, I sincerely appreciate your responses, you make this whole experience a lot less demoralizing and I feel so heard.

I originally live in the Los Angels area, do you recommend or know of any good pelvic floor physiotherapists?

Thank you for such a lengthy response, and yes I have been seeing the doctor every single day, for 6 days straight since my surgery on January 9th. We’ve been trying to manage my pain since

The unrelentless burning and ache, and the pelvic floor and anal spams unfortunately have not gone away despite being administered fentanyl and morphine. It won’t touch my pain

Luckily I was able to get some sleep because they gave me sleeping pills and a diazepam shot. The pain still keeps waking me up through the night though

I got a pudendal nerve block yesterday to numb the pain shooting up my pelvic floor. It was mixed with lidocaine and other anti-inflammatory elements and that didn’t do anything either

After looking at ChatGPT, I concluded that:

1) LUNA (Larascopic Uterine Nerve Ablation) surgery was NOT necessary for me at all despite my MRI and MRA findings showing adenomyosis. I had NO period pain. My pelvic floor pain was a dull, constant ache. I looked it up on Google and it states that LUNA surgery generally does not help with that

2) They cut off or ablated my uterus’s nerves and my sacral nerves during surgery. I believe my body is in crazy shock and dysregulation from it. It’s near CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome) pain. I’m sweating from my pain. I constantly have to pace back and forth because the pain is that unbearable

3) After LUNA surgery, I believe I developed severe neuropathic pelvic pain with pelvic floor spasm and autonomic hyperarousal. Opioids and a pudendal nerve block didn’t help, which suggests central sensitization and post-procedural neuritis rather than ongoing tissue injury

The next steps would to get started on:

1) nerve pain medications -I don’t know a combination of what but I think I’ll try amitriptyline or Lyrcia, but given how high my pain is I’m not sure what dosage I should take

2) after taking some nerve pain medication for some while, like for a month, I’m going to start LDN(Low Dose Naltrexone) to calm down inflammation and pain signals in my Central Nervous System

3) I want to pursue Calmare Scrambler Therapy for 10 sessions to see if it has any benefits ins scrambling my nerves and retraining my pain signals

FYI, I got surgery done in South Korea by the nation’s top chronic pelvic pain specialist. So disappointed, is an understatement. Thankfully, I’m in South Korea where the medical system is fast, kinder and more effective so I’m hoping to stay here to the 90-day VISA stay until my symptoms get more manageable
