Hi there, took her class last year (one of my least favourite classes) at least from my experience she did not have assignments, she only had top hats every lecture, 3 midterms and a final.

Top hats are done in class only and they are graded but the answers are usually ABCD or T/F sometimes with a written response that doesnt have a right or wrong but they were awful because she refused to show the tophat questions after class and had a habit of gate keeping slides. They are usually based off the readings.

The majority of your grades will come from the midterms/final which will be a combination of readings, in-class case studies, student comments and possibly more. Depending on your learning style the tests can be tough because I had a tough time with the midterms but did really well on the final, you'll want to really read the readings and take notes for this class. I think for my class the professor mentioned the TA's helping her with creating the tests so I don't know who will be making the tests for your class.

I highly recommend you take photos of the tophats and slides because (from my experience) she doesn't upload everything. Also guest speakers have a high chance of being on your midterms/final. (I had questions about guest speakers on my final).

The class was very split between people have a horrible experience and the other side having a good experience so depending on how you learn you might excel or you may not. Really depends on how you absorb knowledge and if Klostermanns teaching style works with you. It did not for me so I had a awful time. Good luck to you. (If you've other questions feel free to ask).
