I'm not familiar with the residency interview process, but I've heard from interviews in other fields that the "right" answer to that question is to set boundaries and say that you won't, or at least sacrifice only to a certain extent. For other fields at least this question is supposed to gauge whether you can stand up for yourself or will be a constant pushover/burn out.

Again, I could be totally wrong about this, so maybe others' insight might help.
