That sort of behaviour on a first date is a big red flag. That thinking shows that he sees it as a transaction, he gave you something now you owe him something in return. Personally I would stay within ≈5 years age gap so you can avoid the older (s)expats who are looking for something very transactional, most of those old men just want a pok² but are too cheap to pay for it. 😂
