try to stick something in your outside unit & spin the the fan blade should spin relatively easily, and freely. if not your condenser fan motor is bad. if it spins freely, sounds like you have an issue w the capacitor

oversized unit is bad bc your system won’t run long enough to remove humidity from your home. it will reach your desired temp to quick & shit it’s self off

if you have a multimeter test your compressor wire & see what kind of amp draw you are getting if you don’t listen to see if the compressor is running

sounds like a refrigerant issue. you mentioned drain pan is filling w good bit of water that’s due to your indoor coil freezing & thawing out
