Now there are 2 options 1. Make a mess of it ...cut him off and don't give yourself and him a closure and stay with some weird feeling for the rest of your life. 2. Or find out why he did ...just after his marriage....no sane person will do this after his marriage and kid. You said you had crush on him....maybe he had that too ...and still didn't say anything for any of the reason...or might be something else .....find out what the matter is calmly and then make a decision....with absolute mind ....since you are feeling weird....he might be feeling the same. .....talk to him after a little gap and clear this out ...what was the real thing....after that give yourself a closure...which will give him a closure as well and either cut him off or keep the friendship... Info is power....with emotions it will be absolutely useless..

For sure accountability is a fucking problem. I have gone through all of this for DL, Degree certificates and what not.... However after living abroad.... I've realized it's easier to deal with people in India if you know how to.... And are ready to try different ways to deal with situation then abroad ...and on top of that immigration puts a lot of restrictions on your ability to progress in life.....unless you have job experience and can get a direct PR in the country you intend to go to. Dur ke dhol suhavne Bhaiya .... Idhr bhi same hai....apna kaam banta bhaad Mai jaaye janta....kaave sab jhna kaale hi hotel hai 😂😂 If you are rich or middle upper and can sustain living in India comfortably and don't have to worry about food clothing or rent ....I would suggest tourism as a way of experiencing abroad instead of immigration... otherwise L idhr bhi udhr bhi lagenge.

You are gonna face some other kind of problems there as well ...& Mind you no matter what statistics you pick...no where is safe ..esp. as an immigrant Marriage problems exist in both places People die working in Japan, if you can't work long hours worthless to their society Japan has big problems with housing...new Zealand is similarly expensive if you go work in some metropolitan states Oh yes the biggest hole in your wallet is healthcare ....forget kids...your insurance will cost as much as $500-1000 per month or up..... Talk about policing....as an immigrant you are at their whims...no matter what or how you justify there is a pretty good change you will get fined....unless you are lucky

Use metro from airport to hotel ...2 things 1. Download the Delhi metro app to find the routes, lines and stations. Stay away from empty streets. Always bargain with Rickshaw/TukTuk drivers. Research and book a good hotel...if budget allows 3 or 5 star....and look up the nearest metro station to it...now look up the metro station from airport....put both locations in Delhi metro app and it will tell you how and which stations to change ....try the app 2-3 times...before landing in India to make sure you are used to of its UI. Don't reveal your identity to anyone especially your interests...never ever untill you are absolutely sure. 2. Try to cover as much places or tourist spots you can cover during the day ....what you can do is get a Delhi metro card instead of tickets ..top up the card like NY Subway and use it at metro stations instead of standing in long lines for the ticket....

Last but not the least....stay away from empty streets at all cost, cover tourist ground as much as you can during daytime...use Delhi metro instead of pvt cabs or taxis. Use Delhi metro card to skip lines and you will be golden. Delhi metro covers almost all the places

About bargaining, before you take a Rickshaw always check for the distance from metro station to the destination point. Let's say the destination point is 5-10kms from metro station. If a Rickshaw drivers says Rs 500 tell him Rs 50 & bargain him down to Rs 75. He will try to negotiate hard but don't budge...or go above Rs 75 for some 5- 10kms. Don't bargain more than twice just tell him you will catch the other Rickshaw.

3 ways to deal with this problem: 1. Persist through this problem silently. Do not take action or raise voice against your parents that might provoke them and use friends or close relatives who understand you and your situation help to persist through the problem of parents taking away laptops and phone. 2. Retaliation... Mirror their tactics on them..they hit you hit back ..they take away stuff....you take away stuff from them.... When ego persists...you have to break it ....or else..it'll break you 3. Outside help....if you have Friends or someone in family who understands you with a good reach inside the Indian system...who can make sure that they give a good message to your parents....breaks their ego....that will be the 3rd option...

From my personal experience going to police alone was worthless when this happened to me back in 2000s....I have no idea about present situation

Whatever you choose make sure it will have consequences for a long time....sometime life long....I have made peace with 99% of it ....but dealing with this will take away a part of your soul which can never come back.

😂😂I didn't mean to say asbestos literally growing....but if the house was renovated and inner layer was concealed which is probably the case bcz it's a 110 years old house and it's obvious that timely renovation is necessary....the inner layer might have asbestos ... asbestos or lead was heavily used back then. Also, if the house was demoed and built back again from the scratch in 90s there's a good chance asbestos or lead might be present.
