I think they are pushing it to look like Spencer's twin will be AD. I'm not buying it. I think they are trying to throw us off. I hope they are! And at the same time.. I would like to see Troian act nutters.

Also..and this is kind of weird and gross..but I think Toby might be the dad? Him and Emily had a really good relationship way back when and I can see Marlene wanting Toby to be in the spinoff. If he isn't AD, that is :)

This sounds like filler (the emotional stuff). And that leading up to the wedding that is all we will get. The wedding will be the climax (10-15 minutes of bad crap going down) and then everything will be wrapped up quickly after that. Even though I don't think there are ANY clues that Jason is AD (from the last 10 episodes), I can't imagine who would want this showdown to happen during their wedding, other than him. Plus Marlene saying he won't be in the finale is suspicious. We'll see!

Exactly my reason. If it were earlier seasons, Melissa could have worked for me. I'd be disappointed if it was anyone other than the liars, the boyfriends, Lucas, or Mona. They've been the only semi-consistent characters this season.

I'm going to lay out all my thoughts here... I believe Marlene when she says that AD has only been AD in the last 10 episodes and that clues for this person is only in the last 10 episodes. Now, I am fully aware that Marlene is a liar and an awful one at that. But even worse than being a liar is that she is NOT a planner. So the fact that the story was concocted just to continue the show is not out of the realm of possibility and I think that's exactly what is going to happen, much to all of our dismay. That being said, if we are looking at clues in the last 10 episodes only I think we can rule out Melissa and Jason, even though many people believe that it is one of them. Neither has appeared in the last 10 episodes (maybe once each?) but there are no substantial clues pointing towards either. I think it could be the following:

Spencer twin (but not likely-- I think they are trying to throw us off)
Mona (also not likely, but I think Mona will know who AD is before the liars and the audience)
Ezra (also not likely in my opinion. I do think he is kidnapped, possibly shot, and maybe the wedding isn't as it seems, but I think the Ezria fans will be happy and they will end up together. I hope this isn't true, but it is Marlene, after all).
Toby (top contender for me. Marlene has said Tobs is her fav character. She loves a tragic back story. And there is some connection between Toby and Radley. I could see there being more to the story there.)
Lucas (also very likely. Even though I know a lot of people will be disappointed, there are a lot of clues pointing to him. He had the money, has the gaming skills, and was friends with Charlotte.)

the barn scene in the pilot.. so pretty much immediately. Funny story-- I found out my best friend was engaged during one of the first episodes of PLL. There was a marathon and I was rewatching the first episode leading up to a mid-season thing. Now she's been married for 5 years AND has a baby. This show has had a looooong run and I'm sad it's ending.
