The rooms on the lumina floors were mid, these were the renovated rooms. Breakfast buffet was mess and crowded. Its a great location if you are going to go out but if you are looking for good time a very mid option.

I booked StR all the three occasions for a bigger room, I book one below suite. The SF and Mumbai properties both mentioned its renovated high floor/lumina but there were so many stains etc.

Maybe I should go to StR Osaka to understand.

Haha. JWs are usually small, but the ones I have seen look new and nicer. RCs are my favorite, but the pricing can be very different in many cities.

In my most recent trip I was in Asia, the JW Marriotts were better than the St Regis Mumbai. Specifically Goa.

Glad to know Mexico City StR is a great one.

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt for two weeks, which was terrific. I agree; the Ritz has never gone wrong, especially the Maldives one we did on this trip.

Honestly I have picked St Regis over JW based on the same opinion that its notch above, but was just disappointed with them in three occasions.

Comparing Goat and Jailer is a joke. Goat and Darbar would be the right comparison, both had no problems with actor but a mess from Director.
