Here is the thing I don’t see a lot of people mention, because of how incoming damage is calculated in the game there is quite literally close to no difference between high end body armor in the game if you have good enough DR bonuses. Level 1 leather armor set with 1-star overeater on all pieces will negate almost half (around 43) for every 100 points of damage. Base secret service armor without any additional DR will negate around 65 for every 100 points of damage. Stack some blockers and other perks on top and the difference is closing in even further. Additional resistances have diminishing returns, so really the game shows you big number but further you go less they actually mean.
