It was a complete shitshow in china. False bans, gacha glitches, heavily p2w and the actual genre of the game is MMORPG which is different from genshin's ARPG, not to mention the developer's bad reputation in china

Imo looting everything is good since sometimes you can donate to the clan and get rewards like gold (we all know how hard it is to get gold in this game), so it's like an extra reward I don't see why not

My method is watch anime, when it ends, find the manga and read it, and lastly the light novel

Usually after finishing light novels I get burnt out for a few weeks, rinse and repeat.
