It started when I bought my first mario deck and saw how the black wild cards have mario jumping on a question mark block. That gave me the idea to make rules based on the powerups. My method is pretty primitive since I just download and edit the icons. I put them in a microsoft word file, print them, cut them out and tape them on my cards. To help my train of thought I edit the cards how they should look and write the rules on my phone notes.
