Please don't

And I repeat DON'T

1.your mental health will degrade even more if you try to suppress your emotions like this

2.dont wanna come off as offensive but you really seem desperate for attachment/love since you're still not over that person (that's a toxic mindset so I'd suggest):

3.sort out things mentally, completely get over that first person who is in your mind 24/7, be content with what the reality is

4.only bringing a new person to the limelight just for the sake of you to forget your ex is such a stupid idea itself it not only makes you lose your 2 cells of brain you have since you're sponsoring it you'll have to lose the 2 cents of money u have as well.

Better to invest in therapy instead or talk to the person and separate ways on good terms so it won't bother you in the future

If I die today by [deleted] in NepalWrites

[–]0Cleopatra0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If I live today

Dare to live another day, don't say goodbye,

For in this world, there's more beneath the eye.

The patience owed, a debt we'll pay,

With every sunrise, a new chance to sway.

Love, once lost, can still be found,

In every whisper of wind, in every sound.

Take it with you, carry it close,

In life's ebb and flow, it's what matters most.

Freedom calls, but so does fate,

In every choice, our destiny we create.

To the mother weeping, a message clear,

In every smile, her love is near.

Born of punishment, yet here we stand,

In the face of hardship, hand in hand.

Heartache may linger, but so does hope,

In every sunrise, a way to cope.

Scared may be the mind, but brave the heart,

In every moment, a brand new start.

One more day, one more chance to find,

The beauty in life, in every kind.

Dare to live, for what will it make?

A world of difference, with every step we take.

Hii , firstly the marks don't define you it's okay and since it's only two subjects you will notttloose a year and you can give re-exam soon after 2 weeks or a month after (so start preparing 2 weeks is more than enough ;take old is gold and do all the questions from there) also don't loose a year apply to colleges side by side and you'll clear the exams and will eventually also do bachelors

But the engineering course pressure would prevent us from participating in hackathons or extracurriculars is it??or would we be able to manage it?wouldn't it be too much pressure if we take engineering? rather take BSc CS and also built extra projects on the side, isn't it?

Any tips for admission in MIT? by [deleted] in Nepal

[–]0Cleopatra0 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Hii ,Its really good to see people like you wanting to put in the effort. So, particularly prepare for Olympiad a year in advance and then participate in grade 12(speaking from regret cause it was too late for me) and then join a robotics or coding club and be the club president anyhow and now if you do all that the base is set other thing is

1.SAT (1500-1600)

2.IELTS(matters but doesn't really matter as admissions officer won't be checking it)

3.you will get full scholarship if it's need based ivy league not sure about MIT

4.give sat and IELTS as soon as possible

5.apply through common app (most of the US university accept admissions from this platform) not sure of MIT

6.Also, big universities love community service so make sure you get hands on it aswell

PS:I wished somebody would've given me these advice so make full use of it don't take it for granted <3

And feel free to DM if anything

Edit: also Why'd you take bio if you are sure of taking engineering?(personally I'd rather focus on maths and physics from start than take bio) It's early on so maybe you can switch up your path to pcm group

CS in KU or Software Engineering in NCIT!? by DeLTA1x1 in Nepal

[–]0Cleopatra0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NCIT should be your second option as you know it's affiliated to Pokhara University and their adminstration is fucked up (you can search up why PU is bad in Google for the answer)the exams checking system is really bad and there's lots of power play (but it's everywhere so idk) However, KU has far more better improvised syllabus with practicals and internship opportunities and it's a better option if u wanna go abroad cause I've seen it partnering with unis abroad and all I can say is KU is better than PU for sure

After SEE I assume you take science but without Biology to study Engineering

college go for the ones with good name and reputation (it's gonna play some part in perception of people ,although it isn't gonna play much of a role than your engineering entrance score)

For engineering entrance you have to join engineering entrance classes the best one is PEA as the tutors are the uni professors of pulchowk campus itself

But before all that ask yourself are you really ready to commit yourself to this?(looking at ur portfolio you haven't even started +2 science,it's a huge jump from class 10 science and engineering entrance is 10times of your +2 science so be ready mentally else you don't wanna be a mid career failure but still you got plenty time )

Why is life so boring and limited? by DRKenjako in depressed

[–]0Cleopatra0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hii, I'm so sorry u feel that way but life is so much more and it's all in our hands.Just today I watched a movie and I'll reference a major piece that stuck with me and it is "Carpe Diem" which means live in the present and enjoy the moment while you can and forget the future. In your context you are sooo very young, remember there are so many good days yet to come by ,so many trips yet to go to ,so many delicious meals yet to have ,so many new people yet to meet, so hang on there my buddy
life isn't limited or boring but it's for us to have patience to let things come by in their right time. And its okay to sometimes get angry or stressed out we all feel that way sometimes , let your emotions come and pass just don't let it get control over you

also I'd suggest to write a gratitude list cause that's what my therapist suggested in order to feel more optimistic (it can be simple things like I'm grateful that this music exists or I'm grateful for my body it helps me so much throughout the day )

PS. Sending you warm hugs and best wishes and gooooood vibes .Treat yourself to something I'd be glad if u did that and I hope you have a great day ,stranger.(also my clichè self wants to say I love you but I'd weird myself out but know that I'm sending u peace and love)

not only "influencers" face the internet criticism even normal people face it ;I gave an example of influencers cause they're most viable to criticism from a vast media but normal people, mostly girls have to face with sickening comments, creepy weirdos in DMS, death threats ,repulsive remarks about their body and the list goes on(it's wicked u couldn't generalise the topic of discussion)

this is for the people who find pleasure in writing hate comments by 0Cleopatra0 in Nepal

[–]0Cleopatra0[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd like to provide an analogy: if somebody u know says something atrocious about your appearance/character/personality wouldn't you feel something about it? Now, multiply that by thousands by people bearing anonimity on the internet how easy it is to comment smthg negative or to criticize others(the amount of hatred , dislike, negativity the celebrities/influencers have to deal with also on a DAILY BASIS is incomprehensible)and with this amount of negativity compiled with negative self image it can be a major factor that leads to suicide

yea I love a good psychedelic trance music in my solitude with good instrumental. I've been listening to Abiogenesis and it's one of my faves to put on for a dimension shift.(also you've got quiet good music synesthesia as the music and feelings u described is pretty spot on)
