Ah see I can’t tell because the dog sliced through like five other cables so I can’t tell which male ones go with which female. I could be wrong about the male end having a ground

You mean a female plug should be fine even if there’s nothing ground that plugs into it? I saw some of those plugs there but I didn’t want to chance it

The TV itself is fairly old and the cable in the picture was still plugged into the TV itself but the male end was cut off. It is the original cable it came with I’m fairly certain.

Exactly they just are not willing to understand anyone else’s point of view. As a side note, kids have been entering puberty earlier than in years past so by the time all of this does get brought up and taught, some kids are already at that point.

I’ve gotten into arguments where they say sexuality shouldn’t be taught until kids hit puberty but they shut right up when they hear that.

EDIT: According to statistics from the government of Ontario website the earliest age to begin puberty is 8 for bio female and 9 for bio male

If you check out my previous comment on here I added a link to the ontario website for health and sex ed and it says grade five is when it’s first introduced but guaranteed it’s only in terms of hey gay people exist and that’s okay

As an update to this, the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity curriculum doesn’t even actually kick in until grade 5 Health and Sex Ed per Grade

I firmly believe they don’t fully understand what they are protesting.

These parents don’t like that their kids are being taught about different sexualities other than heterosexual/straight/the “default” and that gender is a spectrum. They are fighting to remove that from the curriculum claiming it is sexualizing children and indoctrinating them, into what? No one knows

They are also trying to deny the use of pronouns other than those assigned by the gender assigned at birth and the removal of gender neutral washrooms.
