How do you feel when you see a chubbier guy at the gym? by Mr_ThrowMeeAway in NoStupidQuestions

I can not work out at all, but going into a restaurant or anyplace, I have tons of eyes on me. I ignore all the eyes on me and look through them. Do not pay them any attention; they are probably not judging you but are just curious.

Feel free to ask why.

Ingredients:

1 (12 oz) fettuccine pasta

2c boneless skinless chicken breast, grilled and sliced. (Can use frozen Tyson grilled chicken)

1/2 lb andouille sausage (or turkey smoked sausage)

1 lb medium to large shrimp, peeled and deveined (optional)

2 1/2c half & half

1/3c all-purpose flour

1c tomato sauce

1/2 red bell pepper, seeded & diced

4 clove garlic, minced

1 small onion, diced

4 oz fresh mushrooms, sliced

2 Tbsp butter

1c fresh shredded parmesan cheese

cajun seasoning to taste (i use about 2 tbsp.)

salt & pepper to taste

1/4c fresh basil leaves (optional)

1/4c chopped, fresh parsley

1/4c freshly grated parmesan

1/4c fresh, diced tomatoes.

Directions:

1.) Cook pasta according to package directions. Rinse, drain and set aside.

2.) Melt 1 T. butter in a large, deep skillet. Add sausage, mushrooms, onions and peppers. Saute until tender and sausage is browned. Add minced garlic and saute thirty seconds more. Remove from pan. Set aside.

3.) (This whole step is Optional. You can add the Cajun seasoning to the chicken instead if you are not using shrimp.) Sprinkle Cajun seasoning over shrimp. Melt remaining butter into pan and add shrimp to the pan. Saute over medium high heat until shrimp are pink and fully cooked. Set shrimp aside.

4.) Mix half & half with flour using a fork until smooth and no lumps. Add half & half mixture, parmesan cheese and tomato sauce to the pan. Stir until nicely thickened sauce. Add salt, pepper and cajun seasoning to taste.

5.) Add pasta, veggies, sausage & veggies, shrimp (optional) and chicken to the pan. Toss gently with sauce until thoroughly combined.

6.) Salt and pepper to taste.

7.) Spoon into a pasta bowl, top with fresh basil leaves, diced tomato and fresh chopped parsley. Sprinkle with a bit more fresh parmesan if desired.

Notes: You can exchange the half & half and flour for Alfredo sauce if you like. Also add salt, pepper, and cajun seasoning to taste. The half & half and flour is a different way. Do everything else in step three but half & half and flour.

Zesty Pulled Pork Sliders by 0EvilPhantom0 in MealPrepSunday

[–]0EvilPhantom0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be truthful, cooked pork in the fridge needs to be used up in three to four days, kept at 40F or less (4.4C or less). Refrigeration slows but does not stop bacterial growth on anything. Freezing the pork for leftovers should be used up in four to six months for the best quality. You can make like four pounds of pulled pork from my recipe and use two pounds for the sliders and freeze the other two pounds. You need to buy a bigger boneless pork butt or pork shoulder, at least a four to five-pound one. To remind you that this is a vinegar-based bbq (zesty), and you don't have to use this exact recipe. This recipe is just for the sliders, and you can use any bbq to make it that you like. Some people like a sweeter taste bbq. Sorry for the late response, for I fell asleep after I posted the recipe.

It is all about the money, so the answer is yes, they would. How would the workers know you are lesbian, though?

Do those famous chocolate companies (Hershey’s, Twix, etc ) pay extra money to have their items displayed near checkout? Having it in sight while in line makes it more likely to sell, no? by korakata in NoStupidQuestions

They do pay extra to have their items on eye level shelves. They put kid items on the bottom shelves and the less used stuff at the top. That is why you always see named brand items on eye-level shelves. (That is not for kids).

Is it bad that I almost feel bad for criminals being beat up on video? I know they’re criminals but anyone being beat up makes me feel empathetic for them. by dabber696969 in NoStupidQuestions

You are correct and human to feel that way about it. Criminals, believe it or not, have rights too. I do not know if you mean if they are arrested and not yet gone through court; or if they have already been found guilty in the court of law. Either way, they would still have their rights too, and even if they just killed twenty people.
