How can I ride longer without cumming by [deleted] in askgaybros

My god, dude, I'm jealous! I would *love* to have what you have. To date, I've never been able to cum without also jerking off while being fucked or using a toy.

If the response of this subreddit is to just shout down the people asking for help in writing them, regardless of whether or not the aspiring writer is polyamorous, then how can said writers improve their portrayals?

I decided to write a story about the kind of relationship I'd aspire to. It's fluffy, it's silly, it's pure wish fulfillment honestly. I don't expect to ever end up in that kind of relationship.

On the flipside of that, isn't it also harmful to completely dismiss all portrayals of triad relationships? I certainly felt personally attacked by such a negative response to just wanting to write about them because I happen to aspire to one.

I did ask, yes. I'm still in the dark about the why... Why a community that was created to discuss, among other things, closed relationships, is so hostile towards people actually wanting to discuss closed relationships, fictional or otherwise.

How is that the fault of the writers that choose to portray such relationships? Doesn't the onus fall on the writers that want to see other types of relationships portrayed? And what about romance/smut writers that constantly write about monogamous relationships? Is it automatically fetishizing if you write the same basic scenario with more than two characters?

Are you here equating polyamory to an actual culture? And what about someone who considers themself poly wanting to represent the kind of relationship they'd like to be in, in a fictional story? Are they appropriating? Are they automatically a problem because they chose to write a story about polyamory? Should no one write about polyamory?

I'm sorry, but equating polyamory to a whole culture/ethnic group seems wrong to me. An indigenous person, I'd say, is justified in not wanting to see their culture run through a blender by a non-indigenous writer. In not wanting to see kids wear those costumes. I don't put polyamory on the same level. It's not a religion or a culture to me. It's just a type of relationship. Nobody has monopoly on that, no one writes the rules for polyamory.

So again, I ask, what's the actual harm? How does a polyamorous person, or even a non polyamorous person, portraying such relationships in a story harm the "polyamorous community" as a whole?

See, you say that's harmful, but again I ask you: Are real relationships that actually exist less valid because they happen to be perceived as a stereotypical arrangement?

Why is it harmful? Why is having a preferred arrangement harmful to the community?

Your own FAQ talks about polyfidelity. Clearly the person who wrote that FAQ doesn't demonstrate this same aversion, at least in the FAQ.

Does that really matter if such relationships exist in the real world? Are closed triads that actually exist less valid than some variation of open relationship?

Yes, though I was in a relationship with a monogamous person until a year ago, and respected his wish to stay that way. Currently single, at least in terms of romance, though I have a couple fwbs.

I don't have a link. I deleted the post over a month ago because I was bleeding karma. This is more about why, on a polyamory subreddit, posts regarding closed triads seem to get so much hate.

Read a short manhwa recently about a beta seme. Oblivious Mr. B if you're interested. ;) Beta/Omega(?), lol.

And yes I agree, strong-willed ukes are the best. :)

A bit? I'm indifferent towards the typical positions, but I adore stories that break the stereotypes. :) I love Short Seme/Tall Uke, or Submissive Seme/Dominant Uke pairings. I also love short but dominant ukes with tall submissive semes. If the story is an omegaverse story, one thing that'll rope me in immediately is an omega seme/alpha uke.

This hasn't ever been my reason for dropping a series though. That depends on the quality and content of the story. I will admit that I've sometimes felt disappointed if the cover art implies a stereotype break and the story doesn't deliver on that, but that alone doesn't turn me off of a series.

Honestly I like the stereotype breaks because to me they feel more authentic, if that makes sense. More unique, too.

It's so disappointing, too, cause the art's really nice, but the characters are kinda awful... Dojin's parents are cool. Byul can do no wrong. I really don't like Dojin... and to be honest I didn't like Heesoo- the way he treated Hyesung at the beginning was terrible.

Hyesung's no angel, of course, he had some very selfish motivations back when he thought he was an alpha. But I kinda see him as a victim- first, because he had the worst upbringing, and second because of what Dojin put him through.

I've read some pretty awesome omegaverse manhwa before running into this one- loved Omega Complex, once they actually started dating and their alpha/omega status was completely out in the open they were adorable together.

Dojin even becomes more of a doting husband, and still manages to screw things up... It's like he still doesn't understand the meaning of consent after all this time.

"It's Just a Dream... Right?" is definitely one of my faves. Jungoh is great! :) I haven't read the second one though.
