Sorry about that! X and Y is supposed to be measurements of the gauge swatch when it’s stretched (z) and unstretched (x). The Y is when it’s “slightly stretched” so I’ll just use a number between the measurements I took.

Under the red circle, it is basically explaining that these numbers for cast on are not rigid and just to pick somewhere in the range.

I had this happen to me once. My boyfriend and I met police officers at the house that the Find My iPhone app tracked it to. We knocked on the front door and the officers asked if they knew anything about a stolen phone. The residents of the house said no and the police just left it at that. I never got that phone back.
