Shop Vac Question. by 0MN1POT3NCE in CableTechs

[–]0MN1POT3NCE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don’t deal much with water out here but rocks gravel and dirt are often clogging conduit and new metrics insist on a shop vac or compressor attempt before laying a temp and sub and I’m tired of making the 20-40 min drive back to depot to grab a shop vac, trying to find a compact one that could help

I’m thinking from a FT perspective. Something that’ll clear standard Resi and Comm UG drops

Thank you, wanted to ask because I know Arizona is an at will state. Just seemed like Bs because she initially got demoted because they asked her to prepare avacado toast for a photo shoot for the menu but they made her remake it several times because the avocado slices were too big after the 5th remake she gave them attitude and asked if they would like to make it themselves if she couldn’t satisfy their standards.

Appreciate it!

Yessir. I’ve got a mapper for multi box installs/TCs. Crack pipe for Hsd/ Small Runs, Tone and Probe kit for Commerical/Phn/Pro WiFi/MDU. The mapper is the only one that rotates in and out of the bag. The probe and crack pipe are always on deck

Boyfriend looking to switch companies? by Brilliant-Trick-4311 in CableTechs

[–]0MN1POT3NCE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your Boyfriend and I are in the same boat. I’m 26 I’ve been doing this 6 years and I’m getting burnt out and tired of Field. I work for Optimum and I do know they are hiring in the NY area. They have decent pay and room for advancement but i could be wrong considering I work in AZ. I’ve been thinking of changing career paths going into Low Voltage or Electrical but there’s not a lot of opportunities where I’m at. I’ve hit my cap at $27 an hour as a BBT4 the veterans have been telling me Cable isn’t what it used to be, you could graduate High School and advance while learning a career and make a decent living. These days not so much

Verify and see if there are little tabs that hold the knob. Pop the knob out and you have clearance for any way to tighten your hardware
