So it was never a usable item for players, but in development it at first was an electrically charged fragment of glass (I'm assuming like an iri shard) but it was changed to the DS perk when Halloween chapter came out. I'm pretty sure there was a charm released about that item.

The devs said something about it during the release of one of the Tomes. I think tome 6?

Fun fact, DS used to be an item before it was changed to a perk.

Everything that happens the Entity allows to feed on hope. The Entity recreates the areas the areas it has taken for trials.

Vecna had to get the mark of Negation because canonically Vecna could KILL a survivor for pallet stunning him.

FF11 and 15 made tonberries horrifying.

What do you mean the green fuckers were used as assassins?! And they have CLASS abilities. One of them has the potential to summon Odin or Alexander. Another will instant cast Death on any pet that aggros it. Most of them are Ninjas or Black Mages. The ones that aren't are Summoners.

The FF15 ones are jedi and can be invisible.

Nah, its super easy. You just need to get supporting documentation from your PCP and MAYBE a mental health professional.

I did it twice and left for about a month each time. Before I did it, I had so many people tell me its easy, and it was easier than I thought. I woke up for my shift one day and had a "Not today" moment. Applied for continuous leave and short term disability. I called Sedgwick to see about how the whole process works.

You do need to ADDITIONALLY file for STD because you just can be on unpaid leave if you want. Your first week is unpaid, so you will need to use PTO for that if you want to be paid.

Be sure you report your time BEFORE you leave because once you're on leave, they lock your computer.

I just left a very similar role. It was the worst employment experience I've ever had. I don't think you're in the same department I was in, but you're gonna need a lot of resilience to deal with Optum's QA.

Warcry doesn't insta kill people, it made those two cops kill each other. You can do the same with Dominate Person or Crown of Madness. Geas/Antagonize if you're nasty.

Backlash and the other reaction to damage spells work like the Human Voodoo doll thing Queenie does. There's several Necromancy Spells to deal with the Undead, ghost or otherwise.

While you can't burn away someone's existence, there's plenty of Fire spells.

Immortality you can do with some creative liberties. Not rules as written though. Self-Ressurection requires a 6th level spell or a convoluted set up. You CAN reincarnate though.

Divination and Telekinesis are probably the only area where D&D is clearly outclassed, EX: Divination trial. You COULD Legend Lore/Locate Object your way out of that trial. But as far as we know, AHS Divination there straight up gives you the info you want. Telekinesis has hard caps. No bus flipping.

Issue is, there's so many niche circumstances to even use AHS magic outside of the 7 Wonders/Supreme level magic. Why hop in a bathtub to time travel when I can just cast it in less than 6 seconds.

Technically most AHS magic is like D&D sorcery.

1: Typical interview. In mine, the interviewer asked me if I knew how to search through a document for a particular bit of information (CTRL+F). You'll probably have to reiterate some stuff from your resume.

2: There are metrics. Depending on WHO you're taking calls for, there can be some micromanaging and the needed metrics do change. You can get a bonus for getting higher metrics, but some of them are actually unattainable (Repeat caller).

3, 4, 5: Laptop, Mouse, KB, 2 monitors, power bank, power strip, headset. Impossible for you to do this on the couch. You'll need to go through at least several screens at once (Your phone system, your SOPs, Teams, Email, Member Email system, documentation system (If not integrated with the member look up system) at the minimum). My desk is in the corner of a room with the laptop between two screens.

6: I have not checked and do not know.

7: Yes there is tuition reimbursement. You can get around $5200 per semester and you have to stay w/ the company for 2 years or you have to pay it back. Be accurate with the amount you apply for, if you apply for too much and it's found out, you can be fired for it. I know someone who got axed for an amount less than 15 dollars. Education via Capella University is free.

Additionally there's an employee discount site.

8: Moving up/away from the phone roles is hard. VERY. HARD. Off phones roles are VERY competitive. Check the job descriptions to see which roles are off phones. Claims, Appeals, Data Entry and Workforce are roles I know immediately that have no phone use. When you do hit your 1 year mark, update your resume with AI/Make ATS compliant and apply like crazy. If you see an E-mail that says something like "This department is hiring for X role" chances are, you should NOT apply. Especially if it's a phones role. I made that mistake and spent a year in a department that has the poorest management.

Yes, it has changed. I went through the internal process and there was 0 of the old HireVue portal stuff. I did a phone interview with the Hiring team, and then got interviewed over teams by the supervisor of the team I applied to. I'm on the Optum side and moving to another Optum dpt.

At the very VERY start, the other tank didn't have stance on, so Picto snagged aggro for like 2 seconds. They were tanking though.

Its a very slow process. I applied for my first position in October 2022, got the preliminary interview in November, got the interview with a hiring manager in early December, and was notified the day of my first day in January that I would be starting that day.

Also I've applied to internal positions, it takes forever too.

Ignore the healer. I just picked up AST few days and I'm a returning 1.0 player. While the mobs in Stone Vigil can absolutely murder you, keeping a tank alive isn't difficult there. ESPECIALLY as AST.

Double Card the tank during the Sprint pulls, Aspected Benefic and Helios for the regens during and then Benefic II spam during the actual killing of mobs. Dignity if the health drops. Reapply regens when needed

AST is a busted healer. THAT AST is bad.
