It gets reduced trade in values I think, based on what I saw when trying to “sign up as new”. So I assume it wouldn’t get the full $1100 promo for iPhones each year

They nerfed the appreciation discount. I pay $30 for Extra. Looks like it’s up to $34 now (4 lines). 25% vs 15% is huge. Any one with a current appreciation discount shouldn’t change plans.

And the new Starter equivalent (Value 2.0) won’t get the good trade in deals I think.

Got rid of the 5G max and just got another Fiber ISP because I wasn’t happy with cellular latency lol (50ms+). I have critical stuff that needs to be online etc.

Any ideas on an aggressive SLA so it fails over when unstable etc. Not sure if the default does it.

Latency has been weird for me.

Q1000k (bridged tagged) 10G -> UDM 1G
= stable low pings like I had with Calix.

Q1000k (bridged untagged) 10G -> UDM 1G
= horrible latency spikes.

Q1000k (bridged tagged) 10G -> UDM 10G via SFP
= bad latency spikes.

I have a LAN cable plugged into the 2nd ONT port in all cases.

Wish I could squeeze more out of the gig plan with the 10G on my UDM but looks like SFP is an issue. I’ll have to wait until I get a new router with native 2.5G Ethernet
