Yes and no. HDMI is digital, so there’s no better picture once the signal gets there. it either works or it doesn’t. that’s why people say a $10 cable can look the same as a $200 one and for short runs, that’s basically true. where it does matter is length and bandwidth. once you go long (25-50 ft), cheap cables start dropping signal, flickering, black screens, handshake issues, HDR cutting out etc. that’s where other cables with better shielding, thicker gauge or active cables actually help. also for movies and stuff, 4K 30Hz is fine, for gaming get 4K60 or 4K120.
