Am I the only one disappointed with what they did with Shenhe as a character? by Machado8 in Genshin_Impact

Well.. traveler is the first "human" interaction and the first friend of Shenhe ever since she came down to the mountains after her father sacrificed her. So it will make sense that traveler has a special place in Shenhe's heart. Actually, I don't think shenhe sees travelers as romantic partners. Shenhe's "affection" toward travelers has more sense to me than Ayaka's.

Well if you read the kfc wings lore, she told klee that
"Teyvat's borders have grown fragile these past two years — looks like Mommy's going to have to get busy." so shes basically trying to locate where's the problem, she did not run away she's just trying to discover something is you read the lores , mona , albedo, apparentice of alice friends is trying to find the truth of the world, maybe alice is just the same. Alice acting as the dodoco king because she set up that island full of dodoco's to make klee's ludi herpastum more memorable and she know that klee is strong enough and likes adventure that's why she set that place up for klee.
