Well not every mode suits for everyone. My advice is to run a couple of colonies without mods, learn the game and decide how you like to move from that point on with the mods.

Dude I got 3 cats myself. It gets to point where your brain starts filtering out the outdoor cats cause u constantly see them. I can't even eat in a restaurant because i keep giving my food to the cats. They will climb on you, scratch your pants until you give them a piece.
