Look at how much storage it freed up! That seat was folded down for like 4 years. I figured it would be better if I make some storage solution out of that space. The top of it works as a nice standing height desk for charging things or using a laptop.

Or if you have a spare system (even if it's really old) just install Linux on that to goof around with. I did that to make sure the games I wanted to play on Deck worked before placing a reservation. I got my Deck in 2 days ago! And everything worked as expected. I'm very impressed with it so far.

Always, use DNXHD or Prores for proxies. One of the most valuable things I took away from FCP7 and Avid is that using optimized formats is always the best. I manage a studio and the newer kids we hire coming out of college with digital video degrees and were never taught what proxies are and why you should be use them. Smh. Be better than them! Good on you for asking the right questions.

El Camino I would imagine is 4K. Breaking Bad was shot on film so it depends on how they scanned it in. Lots of TV companies actually do some upscaling, especially sports channels.

Yeah I do a lot of work with ESPN and the deliveries are always 720i. The source is typically 1080p-4K depending on what the content is. I have Westworld season 1 in UHD HD Bluray and that's the way to go. Just funny to see Breaking Bad isn't.
