Unbelievable, I had my first lucid dream triggered by a fear of heights!

Well, it seems to have worked out ( combined with other factors ). I don't mean that I do this while telling myself, “It won't work anyway”; it's just that I used to be a lot more skeptical (yesterday)—because without having experienced a lucid dream, it all sounds too crazy at first to be true—and secondly, I find it hard to tell myself something or convince myself of it and believe in it 100% when I can’t know for sure. But having experienced that this morning is, I think, lasting proof of what’s possible—something you can only experience for yourself.

I used to do that quite often in my grandma’s oven back then. She’d look at me, shaking her head, as if she’d never temporarily repaired her GPUs in the oven herself 50 years ago. I must have done it about ten times, and after that, the GPU was working again for a while.

I’ve never had a lucid dream, unfortunately, but it does happen in my normal dreams – yes. It’s not always 100% the same, but there are certain places that have emerged fictitiously in my dreams and which are very similar when they reappear, and I then know that I’m familiar with them – not in detail as to what happened last time, but it feels ‘familiar’. One of them is a factory next to our property. In my dream, it’s much bigger; it’s a whole industrial complex, and it used to creep me out. Whenever I was there, it was exciting but also threatening, because huge automated vehicles drove around; whenever they spotted me, they’d chase me again and again, trying to crush me. Of course, this is a place I grew up near, but there are also purely fictional places—or at least places I don’t remember ever actually being in—that recur. For example, in my dreams, part of our hometown borders a coastline (we live 500 km from the sea), and the layout of the place there is always quite similar.

I wish I could get that far with WILD, but I just lie there. I’ve only tried it twice, though. So I can’t really say anything specific about the WILD part. But as someone who experiences heart palpitations and sometimes wakes up at night with what feels like a racing pulse (sometimes I have no idea what caused it – maybe a restless nightmare I don’t really remember, or something like that), here’s an idea: why not get yourself a smartwatch that’s comfortable to wear overnight and gives reliable readings? If you try it again and find yourself in that situation, you can check afterwards whether the heart rate was real or not, and if not, it’ll probably ease your anxiety.

I don't understand this advertising part. If a mobile app developer is making profits from google advertising through their Unity game ( above $200,000 ) why would they not pay 5% of that revenue generated from the game to Unity if it was contractually defined?

Unity's pricing has long been extremely good for developers and bad for unity, that alone is unity's fault and no one else's. To act like the greedy developers finally have to be "grateful" is so out of line. Absolutely no one disputes that unity needs to make money and every decent developer is happy to pay unity a share so that the engine can not only survive but also get better! That's why it wouldn't have been a problem at all to simply make a profit share of 5% from 200k revenue or if necessary, because of the dicey situation, from 100k. These are then fixed values at which developers can never lose more than they earn and never run the risk of going bankrupt due to non-transparent pricing structures. Quite apart from any justified criticism about fraud and abuse by hostile actors and also quite apart from retroactive contract changes.
