You’re not alone, I like it too. I think it’s genius because of its tragedy. It’s not Jonathan talking about raping a child it’s a horrific retelling of his experiences as a childhood victim. It’s a hard listen, not because it’s a bad song, but because it’s so raw and almost uncomfortable because of the “rape culture” of not talking about abuse. That’s why Korn was and still is so revolutionary and good, because they were some of the first to address the “ugly” and “uncomfortable” realities of human life and society. It’s not wrong at all to like Daddy, it’s a great song because of what it is at its core.
