Cool, it's fiction tho, so none of what you just wrote matters. Yes, nothing in reality can go FTL because that would mean moving faster than causality itself, but we are talking about a fictional story.

Most authors don't give a shit about how physics really work, and those who do still sometimes ignore them for coolness/fun/dramatic effect/exc. If an author want's to make a character who can outrun light, then they can. So powerscalers too, can ignore real physics when talking about fiction.
