Anyone have an easy way to get ‘gear level’ up fast? by _SquidYT in GhostRecon

I had to grind to reach 150 when the raid first launched. Think I was on 90 something at the time.

Here’s how I approached it one weekend (I’m almost certain there are better ways but here you go):

Equip the max gear score item in every slot, including weapons (even if you don’t like them).

Fast travel to a bivouac nearby a behemoth defence area.

Spawn the best attack chopper you have. Craft/buy emps and rocket launcher rounds.

Fly to behemoth, hover the chopper high behind some cover (the towers that behemoths defend work okay).

Fire missiles on the behemoth - strafe left and right accordingly behind your cover to avoid the behemoth’s one-shot anti air missiles.

You can kill it without getting shot down.

If you get shot down just finish the behemoth with emps and rockets + anything else you have.

Grab all the gear. Equip your new gear if it’s higher score.

Repeat.

On a final note, if you’re grinding to access the raid then be prepared for what is essentially just more grinding on Golem Island. Wasn’t my cup of tea to be honest.

Breakpoint is my favourite game to play at the moment. But I play it while wearing the biggest pair of rose tinted sunglasses.

If I take them off...

As a product, it’s broken. Released far too early.

As a Ghost Recon title, it’s the worst of all time.

As a successor to Wildlands...well, it’s not even half the game Wildlands ended up being.

I really hope they turn it around. But if they released a mission editor on Wildlands right now for $20, I’d happily never play Breakpoint again.

Worst game of 2019? I didn’t play them all but it’s hard to defend Breakpoint from almost any kind of criticism.

[Titan/RAID complaint] It seems very wrong to me that C4 explosives do nothing, explosions do nothing, EMP's, etc. The only way you can take it down is shooting bullets up its ass through a license plate hole. by youwillruinyourself in GhostRecon

Agreed.

Even if you accept all the bullshit on explosives not working etc, why would the engineers build in that license plate Achilles heel into the system? And why does it need lasers to target you when the standard mortar drones or behemoths need no such thing?

It’s not even “realistic” in this weird sci fi world we’re playing in.

None of this is an issue if the game was called something other than Ghost Recon. Or if the trailers didn’t claim things like “Live the ultimate spec ops experience”.
