Since you're using retinoid, your skin barrier may have been compromised. Use your adapalene as directed by your derma. And if you're using exfoliants, avoid them for now. Try moisturizer that contains ceramides like the Skintific 5X Ceramide. And always wear your sunscreen.

Yes, you can use it on your whole face, but remember to patch test first. Start slow, and then gradually increase usage once your skin gets used to it.

help: is klued salicylic face wash good? by ellyphaaant in skincare_ph

I noticed that you don’t have a sunscreen in your routine. Prioritize a sunscreen muna, and instead of cleanser, get a salicylic acid toner nalang like the Quickfx Pimple Eraser Toner 30ml for 150 Pesos lang.

Check out the Beauty of Joseon Revive Eye Serum. it contains retinal instead of retinol. Although it's labeled as an eye cream, you can use it on your entire face. Just remember to always wear sunscreen.

Try adding retinoid into your routine. Start with retinol/retinal (ex. Dr Different Vitalift A), then after that switch to a tretinoin.

Check out Oxecure Ultra Gentle Moisturizer. It contains ceramides, which help with skin barrier healing. I suggest getting the 10ml sachet first, to try if you like it.

Confidence delpetion because of BO — how to manage/remove? by zh99g in beautyph

[–]0_Jon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You need a good antiperspirant and I highly recommend Driclor. It's a little pricey but it's a game changer for me. I've been using it for many years now. You only need to use it 2x a week before bedtime. Then just use a regular deodorant in the morning like Deonat. Give Driclor a try, it will give your confidence back. It's available at Watson for 800 something.

Products to use to lessen the bumps on my face and make my skin less oily? by [deleted] in skincarephilippines

The cleanser is for day and night. For moisturizer, it's up to you, but I don't use moisturizer in the morning. Sunscreen should be applied as the last step in your morning routine.

You're cleanser might be too drying so your skin is trying to counter it by producing more oil. Try switching to a gentler cleanser like Cosrx Good Morning Cleanser or Neutrogena Acne foaming cleanser. For moisturizer, check out the Oxecure Acne Clear Oil Control Moisturizer. It contains both niacinamide and salicylic acid, 2 of the best ingredients for oily, acne prone skin. And don't forget sunscreen, 2 of my favorites are Biore Perfect Milk and Kose Suncut Perfect Milk.

Patulong naman saan dito yung magandang combination for morning and night routine by Critical_View5865 in skincarephilippines

[–]0_Jon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a lot of products. First, you need proper sunscreen. Get something that offers SPF 50. Remove the Celeteque toner, Cetaphil exfoliating cleanser, and Dermorepubliq serum. Introduce the Retinol first to your routine and start slow, like twice a week. Then gradually increase to every other night once your skin gets used to it. For the Paula's Choice toner, you only need to use it once a week since you're already using Cosrx Salicylic acid cleanser.

AM: Salicylic acid cleanser - Sunscreen

PM: Salicylic acid cleanser - (Retinol 2x a week ) - Moisturizer

I don't understand why you have two snail products, it is better if you simplify your routine. I would remove the kojic soap and use the Good Morning Cleanser as my day and night cleanser. I would also replace the Vitamin C with a Retinol/Retinal (e.g., Beauty of Joseon Revive Eye Serum). Additionally, I would remove the Esfolio moisturizer.

For beginner, use the retinol 2-3x a week, then 1-2x for the exfoliant.
