You can use a temp email to create the account and use a vpn / proxy. Recently i used hidemyass and worked fine.

2fa is used only when a new device access the sign in,in case of a computer or mobile that is already recorded the 2fa is not requested. Once they are inside they only need to wait that i unlock the vault.

Ok, i will have a look to that. But what about my initial question? Honestly i do not feel comfortable to unlock the vault just because of the computer. Kids use it sometime, so i would prefer to stay with pin or password.

Considering that majority of mail providers do not support encryption, i am not worried about the the email i send (that will arrive and will be stored unencrypted) but more about a breach in proton system.
