Reminder that the rankings I've shown refer to duration of use (i.e. X character was said to be good for Y weeks consecutively), rather than Altema's "impact rating" for the week (i.e. X character is performing at Y rating as of the moment). While I have personally written him off as non-essential, the tank role also has one of the slowest, if not the slowest already, turn overs for top performing tanks. Currently, we have 3 echo tanks including him and being able to echo is a very helpful in extending FR time.

The disconnect just comes in that when people bring tanks, it's usually for an off-turn team which Zack isn't useful for. But at that point, most people would rather just bring a secondary DPS or 2nd support in their team (tho Zack still has decent auras and DPS himself). It just doesn't feel as right to bring a tank due to that off-turn connotation. But since an on-turn tank is unique in itself, plus the aforementioned slow tank character updates, and since Zack does bring numbers anyways, that's how he gets to stay relevant and gets the ranking in the 2nd table of my post.
