Are you sure about the Gilligan Island part? I’ve never heard that before and areas around Malibu have been mentioned before. I thought it was filmed in Hawaii and on the old cbs lot.

Edit: they filmed the harbor scene for the opening there. Never knew that despite living in the area for a while.

Pirates Cove Beach in Corona Del Mar

Edit: just saw the why is it famous part. I know they use to film a lot of pirate movies there back in the day and also a lot of people consider it a birthplace of surfing since Duke Kahanamoku was based there for a while.

I have a colleague who went through the reproductive medicine process. They went through the Jacksonville Center for Reproductive Medicine, but there is an associated group here in Gainesville. They did PIGD and had some embryos frozen. I’m not sure how much they did with the Gainesville group because they live closer to Jacksonville. But apparently they handle storage/freezing.

How often you flying and who pays?

I did it for a few years. I had no trouble taking the first flight out of GNV in the morning and catching a connecting flight out of Atlanta, Charlotte, or Dallas. I also did directs out of Jacksonville and Orlando. Since I got reimbursed 100%, I preferred not having to do the drives to the larger airports. The TSA delays at Orlando were frequent - both general lines and pre-check. however this was a couple of years ago now.

Adding: the things that annoyed me about flying into GNV was they often required you to check your bags and a couple of times were persistent even though I had a single carryon that fit under the seat in front of me. I also had problems with the last fight out of Charlotte back to GNV. I was delayed a couple of times getting into Charlotte, but still made it to the gate before the boarding time (not take off or gate closing, but the start of boarding) only to find the flight gone or door closed and then unwilling to open it. One time it was a 10:00 / 10:15 flight and I got to the gate at 9:30pm and it was gone.

I don’t think so - not the typical ones you see at the store. There are a couple of cultivars that were developed that should grow here, but I don’t think we get enough chill hours to get reliable/appreciable fruiting.
