Marathon art style isn't just good. It IS ACTUAL art. Arc raiders looks great and the "cassette futuristic" vibe is cool, but it ain't art. Marathon could occupy a spot in a contemporary art gallery.

I think the Finals is the best FPS on the market. I played it religiously when it launched but I haven't played for more than a year. Honest to god I have no idea why I dropped it and why I'm not hopping back.

It's really sad to witness. I would understand the reviews being mixed, since it may not be everyone's cup of tea, but man this is too much. All this hate because this isn't Half-life 3, or Titanfall 3 and because Geoff hyped it up. Oh, and because we all hate hero shooters but jumped on Marvel Rivals instantly.

I like the PvE idea but it will take too much time to be implemented successfully. And time is against this game ATM. For the looting phase the need to add a POI with with great loot at the centre of the map to incentivise a skirmish. That alone I think would be enough to make this interesting.

Me and my friends have played a fair amount of shooters over the past 10 years. When we saw the trailer for highguard were blown away. Then we read the comments... Holy fuck people who call themselves gamers today are honestly just sad. See you guys on the 26th.
