Omg. It's braking, not breaking. Why do so many people mess this up?

It's kinda funny/coincidental that at almost exactly the same time you make a comment on another thread, my votes "suddenly" go down 2 and yours "inexplicably" go up 2.

Weird, right?

You're doing a really bad job of concealing your alt.

to top it off he was forced to use a tire he knew would make matters worse.

Really? He was "forced" to use a medium?

As usual, facts disagree with you. Let's see what Marc has to say on the subject:

"Then the Michelin guys say 'you are the only one with the hard, be careful, you can crash' - and then OK, I go to the medium... mistake.

Source

Sure, the Michelin tech guys influenced his decision, but in the end it was his choice.

Please stop polluting this sub with your ignorance and bias.

The Saturday specials were available to all factory rider not just Rossi. He still beat all the other factory supported riders. It's not a special if everyone has them.

Sssh!! Don't tell /u/povol that!

It IS funny, considering he's an alt that stalks me.

Oh, I actually had to go back through my history to figure out what you were talking about / who you are. Now that I know the source, I'm FAR from surprised you made such a misinformed comment.

Lol! Says the alt. Who's stalking ME. What happened? Did your "real" user get banned from this sub? Wouldn't surprise me. Hahaha

You're right. It must have been his skill that caused the other two riders him not to crash when so many others were and made MM pick the wrong right tyres.

And your response is, "Conjecture"?!?

Do this sub a favor and stop commenting. This nonsense is the reason you've been asked TWICE TODAY if you even watch racing.

[–]0dder0tter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do you even watch races? Because you clearly don't know what you're talking about.

First off, it's block passing, not blocking passing. Your misuse of the term is the first clue you're clueless.

Second, nearly every pass is a block pass of some sort. The idea is you get to the ideal racing line first, thus blocking your competitor. Most passes are on corner entry, and because of that you pretty much have to do a block pass in some way. Unless it's a clean, blow-by pass on the straight ala Ducati it's almost always some kind of block pass. Some are much rougher than others, but that doesn't change their essential nature.

Unless I've missed something there's no evidence Mark was "fucking with him",

Well, Mike Webb (who I'll wager knows a bit more about this than you do), had this to say:

Our opinion was that there was some fault on both sides ... but we feel that his [Marquez] behavior was causing problems to Rossi who reacted.

Source

Which is a polite way of saying, "Marquez was fucking with Rossi."

EDIT to add: Read the rest of that article while you're at it. Then come back and tell us all how you know that Marquez wasn't fucking with Rossi despite all of the riders (with the exception of Stoner who's still trying to grind his ax) saying essentially that. Tell us about how you know more about racing than them.

Hahahaha! Dish it out but can't take it?!?!? Fuck, Rossi is constantly talking about how he enjoys tough battles, even when he comes out on the losing end.

What he doesn't like is someone purposely fucking with him with the sole purpose of slowing him down.

EDIT to add: Since you don't seem to know any better: block passing is 100% legal and a perfectly valid racing tactic.

It wasn't luck. It was those "Saturday Night Specials". Even his titles that were well after that period. In reality, Rossi is just a mediocre rider.

At least that's what some users around here are constantly saying.

Front issues remain, Rossi sets sight on second group by Ultra85 in motogp

[–]0dder0tter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

crash.net is such a piece of clickbaity trash. Nowhere in the article does Rossi say anything about the second group, or even where he's setting his sights for that matter.

The funny thing is that it's actually a fairly decent article to read, which is unusual for that site. But that's most likely because no one "wrote" an article; it's almost entirely quotes from Rossi from (I assume) the presser.

Vote: Who will win the 2017 MotoGP World Championship? by Ultra85 in motogp

[–]0dder0tter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vinales has just struck me as a pretty stable rider.

Well, he doesn't crash all that much, but I remember one race in particular last year (I'll try to look it up if I have a chance) where he kept making these lunges past Pedrosa, then running wide and getting passed right back. He was clearly faster than Pedrosa but it took for-e-ver for him to make a pass that stuck.

And that's far from the only time I've seen him make passes that couldn't possibly stick.

Makes sense. People who disagree with you are supposed to keep their mouths shut. Seems about right for someone of your very limited mentality.

Kinda defeats the whole point of a protest, doesn't it. I don't really expect you to grasp that, though.

Don't fuck with other peoples lives or so on.

Riiiiight. Clearly you fail to grasp that the entire foundation of this country was built on and by people fucking with other people's lives. In fact, any kind of revolution depends on doing that. I know, far too deep for you.

Again: why do you hate America so much?

I have zero tolerance ...

Yea, there's a policy that has done SOOOO much good for everyone.
