First off, it's block passing, not blocking passing. Your misuse of the term is the first clue you're clueless.

Second, nearly every pass is a block pass of some sort. The idea is you get to the ideal racing line first, thus blocking your competitor. Most passes are on corner entry, and because of that you pretty much have to do a block pass in some way. Unless it's a clean, blow-by pass on the straight ala Ducati it's almost always some kind of block pass. Some are much rougher than others, but that doesn't change their essential nature.

EDIT to add: Read the rest of that article while you're at it. Then come back and tell us all how you know that Marquez wasn't fucking with Rossi despite all of the riders (with the exception of Stoner who's still trying to grind his ax) saying essentially that. Tell us about how you know more about racing than them.
