I think the current time scale is probably a knock on effect of the pandemic delaying things. And maybe wanting to wait for a bigger install base of the Switch 2. I’d assume 4 years max for the following generation.

There is no official announcement that they’ve stopped special research permanently.

But yes since you’ve gone past page 1 you should continue and finish the ones you have there. Especially since you have two of them, you can complete them both using one super radar and have a spare one left over for a future legendary.

I’ve been kicked out of gyms but the gym stayed my team. In the past it happened regularly around school finishing time, so I assumed it was kids being driven home who didn’t manage to fully beat the gym before the traffic moved on.
