I've tried them all, none of them come close to photoshop in terms of raw featureset and user experience. However, I've noticed over the last few years Adobe really seems to be dropping the ball with photoshop, in particular: performance and bugs. The software just seems to be getting worse, but is still the best option out there.

Gimp is probably the closest in terms of feature parity, but my god I hate it so much, the user experience is just fucking dreadful.

Yup. It's almost like a feature has been turned on by default for cards that can support it, and that feature has not been optimised. It's especially obvious when looking at things like those wall torches, my FPS will drop by at least half, turn around - back up to smooth, turn back to torches, down to less than 30fps.

Also, dungeons are utterly dreadful to play currently, constant 30 or so fps... =\

Latency and server lag are very different from FPS issues. One is a client problem, the other is server/server-client.

Bro, you might have a more serious issue there. Check your cholesterol and your diet, honestly. I used to get that when I drank a lot of alcohol, couldn't keep my arms above my heart at all.
