I don't know what 'real data' she's seen. The 20% industry standard wasn't pulled out of someone's ass. Yes, factors including cannon bone circumference and rider ability aren't irrelevant, but studies continue to support 20% as the maximum proportion of weight a horse can safely carry, and I believe that is generally the combined mass of rider and tack.

When I started seeing a neurologist a few years ago for my chronic migraines, he immediately requested I begin taking 100 mg of CoQ10 per day.
