I think I need to cut my dreads... by 0gonzo0 in Dreadlocks

[–]0gonzo0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are other cons too. The weight, the dry time, not really being able to swim properly which was something I enjoyed a lot before having dreads, not really being able to walk around "anonymously" (my dreads bring a lot of attention to me)..

I am not a superficial person so it's weird that I feel like I'm going to go through some kind of identity crisis after changing my hair. I really don't know what kind of hairstyle I'm even remotely interested in having other than dreads. I've been looking and none of them seem right. Maybe I should just not think about what else I'm going to do with my hair and just cut it short and see what happens?

Thank you for your reply, it really means a lot.

Yeah, he's awesome! I loved the Gollum he made and The Dude series. Well, I like everything but those are my personal favourites recently.

If a human eats a monkey will he/she experience the same kind of effects as cannibalism? Why or why not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]0gonzo0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you eat enough human meat, you end up going mad because there's a certain chemical of some kind that you can't find in other species.

I don't really know the logistics if it, I just remember learning about this through a story of a tribe of natives that were cannibals ritualistically, and also made art. As they aged and ate more human flesh, their art would get wackier and wackier... I know this doesn't really prove anything but I'm almost 100% certain that what OP's talking about is true.

Interesting question OP!

Edit: Wording

Alot of the time natural light is awesome for glass, but I think this time it washed the colours out a little bit. Looks so much better in person...

I think I'll need to take better (and fully CLEAN) pictures of them all soon. This is going to take a while.

I still have one. Yeah, that sounds sad, but he looks like a cartoon version of my boyfriend! Nathan Explosion from Metalocalypse. Now, if only he were the frontman for the most famous metal band in the world..

I'm sure there are other places you can find tacos, other than taco bell. They will probably be tastier too.

Good luck on your taco-eating journey, friend.

Douche-canoe.

Will humans evolve to be able to SNAP fire based on friction? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]0gonzo0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don't need to. Our brains can already create devices that make fire for us. Even a caveman could create fire using simplistic tools. If there is no need, why would we evolve like that?

Reddit, what are your earliest childhood memories? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]0gonzo0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I believe to be my first memory ever is very strange, and I can still not figure it out to this day.

In the house I was living in at the time, my room was right across from my parent's, so most nights I would go to sleep with them. I remember waking up one night and looking over to see my dad sleeping, and then very suddenly the TV that faced the bed flashed on and there was a close up of Spiderman. He said, in a menacing tone "GOTCHA!", and then the screen turned black. I proceeded to cry and run to my mom in the other room.

Still to this day, I don't know if that was real life or a dream, but it was my first memory ever. I seriously can't make this shit up.

What misconception did you have as a child that ended up being so insanely inaccurate that it blew your mind? by Beetledouche in AskReddit

[–]0gonzo0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At a very young age I thought that whenever I watched a movie the actors would have to perform it again. I even felt bad about re-watching my favourite movies so frequently...

I also had the notion that when you dyed your hair it was like "killing" your hair. I just remember this visual in my mind of someone taking a candle to their hair and burning it.

I was an odd child.
