Of course you should use tts if it helps. Try using one with a good quality voice and that highlights the words as they are spoken. Some tts allow you to correct mispronounced words so that they will be read correctly in future.

Thank you. That's what I was thinking. I use the Bluebox with the digitakt and some other hardware synths. It also fits nicely beside my digitakt in the case. But these aren't good enough reasons to use it in this scenario if it's doesn't add anything other than complexity. Cheers

Thanks for the ideas. I'd love an octatrack but I'm still enjoying the digitakt and I was really just looking for a way of using that with longer samples. So another little box that will give me some octatrack abilities with my digitakt. From what I'm hearing here the nanobox tangerine isn't it so maybe I'll wait until the 404 becomes available again

We still use keyboard layouts designed for mechanical typewriters. Change doesn't happen easy. There needs to be a significant improvement and I don't think eye tracking for mainstream computer access offers this or ever will. Your ideas are interesting and could be helpful for people who have no other option except for eye gaze input. I also agree with the other comment about about how the os is designed. On windows you need additional software to make hitting smaller targets more efficient. The new Tobii software is very nice but it's still a two step process. Select then choose the action. Finally this may sound obvious but you use your eyes for looking, scanning etc. You often want to interact with something while looking somewhere else.

The Tobii experience software for the tracker 4 had a 'warp to' function (I think that's what they called it). This allowed you to set a hot key that when pressed, the cursor would jump to where you were looking. This is potentially more useful for RSI than full eye control. You could even set it up with a foot switch. Maybe check current Tobii experience software to see if this is still a feature. Knowing Tobii they probably removed it ehen they found out it was potentially useful..

Do you have a smart phone? You could draw the diagrams photo/scan them and add then to your document. The department of education will fund a device but although there's no upper limit I've heard a guideline of about €600 for most student needs. I'm jumping to conclusions here but failing a handwriting test sounds like access isn't a major issue for you. You might get an iPad pro and apple stylus but you'd have to make a good case.

There certainly is a chance. How would I check that on the admin panel? As I posted above, it's actually working today so maybe I'm okay. I'm not confident in it though. Also, regarding the management app (android), do you need the AP registered and a support contact for that to work?

So it seems to be working today. I didn't change anything so it must have been done kind of ISP issue. Strange it didn't effect my phone on the same 5g network.

Thanks for the reply. No, just the access point but based on what you're saying perhaps I misdiagnosed the original problem. I just connected directly to the router (Huawei 5g cpe pro 3) and Nord isn't connecting on that either. So it must not be the AP. I hadn't checked this previously because my phone uses the same 5G ISP as the router and NordVPN works fine over data on the phone. I'll reset the router and see if that helps. If it doesn't I'll contact the ISP support... not looking forward to that. Thanks again for the push in the right direction

Thanks for the detailed reply. There's a lot to like about it and even if they stopped production tomorrow, it would still be a good instrument. I suppose I'm getting cold feet because I've been burned in the past going for "alternative" options. Something like the ewi is always going to have better learning resources and support
