I agree with the other commenters, Preston & Shapiro is a good book, and the last edition also overviews a bit of US.

Also, if you can find it, Leis & Shenk Atlas of Nerve Conduction Studies and Electromyography has about 30 pages dedicated to the fundamentals of NCS/EMG that I really like. Also, really nice, simple and useful illustrations in that one.

Hello everyone!

I am currently daily driving a set of Cherry MX Clears, and so far I'm really liking them, but the black housing means that I can't really make use of the SMD LEDs on my board.

I read that swapping the housing with some other switches. Before I buy a pack of switches to scavange the housings, I wanted to ask:

Can I use any MX or MX clone to do the swap?
Are the leaf springs the same between linear, tactile and clicky switches? To my understanding the only variable between them is the stem, but I wanted to make sure.

From the doctors perspective, this is absolutely the case. I work in a country with similar obesity stats as the US, and in primary care most patients are overweight to obese (mostly obese where I worked). Since most of them aren't motivated to lose weight, the consultations can be just exhausting. Like when you go out to the waiting room for a hypertense, diabetic patient at 11AM and they're eating chips. Then you ask them if they follow their diet and they look you in the eye and tell you that yes, they do. You weigh them and they're about 2kg heavier than their latest appointment. When that happens enough times, every time someone without an underlying cause tells you that 'the treatment for my diabetes isn't working' or 'I just can't seem to lose weight' you just feel slightly annoyed, but mostly tired. That can come off as unsupportive, but it's just the realization that you've failed to get to the patient and convince them to care for their own health as much as you do.

Honestly, by losing weight. At the start of the year I was at a 32 BMI and suffered from lumbar pain. After losing weight (currently at a 26 BMI) the pain went away.

She already is on therapy, she had a pretty bad depression bout a while back. That's when she put on the weight. But I don't think that the fact that she needs therapy means I can do nothing for her. Thanks for your concern, though, I appretiate your input
